BACKGROUND:

Rei Hino is the most hot-headed of all the senshi. As an Aries (and a fire sign), she has a very short fuse and is extremely intolerant. Rei tends to be arrogant and opinionated, unlike the rest of the inners, and often instigates arguments with Usagi. However, her stong intuitive powers and her psychic abilities are of tremendous use to the team, despite her love of arguing.

Rei is also the Princess of Mars, one of Sailormoon's protectors. She often seems to take her duty as more of a burden than anything else. She is almost constantly fighting with Usagi, calling her names, and being a general bitch. However, when it really counts, Rei can be one of the best friends Usagi has.

As a temple priestess, Rei has strong psychic capabilities which she uses to her advantage. She performs fire readings and uses tarot cards to provide useful information about the senshis' circumstances. She also carries a seemingly unlimited supply of paper charms, which she can utilize to ward off evil spirits (incuding Negaverse yomas). Rei also seeks help from her two crows, who transform into humans and offer advice when she is in a bind.

Even though Rei is often more of a bitch than anything, she is also one of the most fiercely loyal of the senshi. She truly believes in Sailormoon's powerm though she hardly ever shows it. Her strong will and fiery heart make her a rash yet powerful member of the soldier team.

Fire Soul-- Her original attack, and one of the most useful. She gathers an energy flame into her fingertips and unleashes it upon her enemy, incinerating it.

Burning Mandalla-- A very cool attack. She draws a circle of celestial energy around herself and then hurls it at the enemy. This attack creates dozens of little fire rings, giving it a wide range of destruction.

Fire Bird-- A spin-off of the Fire Soul. Instead of a streamline fire projectile, the fire becomes a phoenix-like bird and attacks the enemy.

Mars Flame Sniper-- She gathers a cylinder of energy and transforms it into a large arrow. A bow of flame then appears, and she shoots it at the target. As the name suggests, this attack is very precise.
