Kohran is the brains of the bunch, often working in a laboratory developing new weapons. She seems, however, to be cursed with eternal bad luck, as everything she creates blows up in her face (literally). Her sunny personality and determination always keep her going, though. She never gives up on a project until it works just right.

By nature, Kohran has an inquisitive mind and keen intellect. She is quite scientifically inclined, but also has strong psychic powers (that's why she was chosen for her position). She is sweet and kind, sometimes almost maternal. She always knows how to have fun with a given situation and provides much comic relief in the show.

Kohran is one of the most likeable characters in Sakura Taisen. Her pleasant disposition and consideration for others are admirable qualities, which she demonstrates throughout the OVA. This makes her quite popular with Sakura Taisen fans.
