Maria is the oldest of the women in the Flower Division and the official leader. She is tall and striking in appearance, and is also a highly skilled sharpshooter. Maria is the most serious and introverted of the group, as she holds the most responsibility.
Maria is a natural leader, though times get tough when the others bicker and argue. She must often intercede in personal battles for the benefit of the whole division (like a peacemaker). Her strict sense of discipline and strong influence are key to her success at this not-so-little task. Her intellect is as keen as her aim, so she usually manages to retain control.
Maria is one of my personal favorite characters because she is so multi-talented. Her dark and mysterious nature also contributes to her appeal, though it's often hard to tell what she's thinking. Her closest friend is Kanna, her complete opposite.
