BACKGOUND:
Haruka has a castle on her planet, and resides there as the Princess of Uranus. As a protector of Sailormoon, Uranus takes her role very seriously and makes it her top priority. She is playful with Usagi, calling her "odango" (dumpling), and otherwise hitting on her. However, these flirtations are not serious, as she is entirely devoted to Michuru.
One of the strongest senshi physically, Haruka is always involved in sports. She is an accomplished runner and auto racer. Because of her short hair, boyish build, masculine manner/dress, and physical activities, she is often mistaken for a man. She even speaks Japanese using traditionally "masculine" terms, and refers to herself in a masculine manner as well.
As a sailor senshi, Uranus is always ready to fight. She scorns weakness in others, and is intolerant of the shortcomings of the other senshi. Her biggest personal problem lies with men, especially popular men (like Seiya in Sailor Stars). She resents men as a whole and gets quite peeved when Michuru playfully flirts with them. However, Haruka cares about her friends, despite her lack of sympathy. She often demonstrates her weak side (her opportunistic nature ironically conveys an image of cowardice), but is on the whole a strong soldier.
Space Sword Blaster-- Utilizes her talisman, the sword. She slashes the blade of the sword, creating a kind of sonic wave which cuts the target.
Haruka is one of the powerful "outer senshi", and the partner of Michuru. She is strong-willed and independent, yet can be selfish and fickle at times. Her devotion and loyalty are commendable, but she seems too willing to make major sacrifices for personal gain. Her enigmatic nature makes her hard to understand.
POWERS
World Shaking-- Very cool power. She gathers a ball of gold energy in her fist and smashes it into the ground. The ball destroys anything in its path. Quite effective.
