Ryouga's Realm

Yeah, it was only a matter of time. This is my page dedicated strictly to Ryouga, my favorite Ranma 1/2 character.

Why Ryouga?

Well, I guess I'm a sucker for hard-luck cases. Ryouga's had a pretty tough time and he's such a great person. Even though he turns into a pig, he isn't completely absorbed into his rage to ignore love. He's loyal and kind and can be so gental. He's almost always got good intentions. Besides, with a face like that, how can you resist? He's so cute, P-chan or Ryouga-Chan.

Ryouga's Story
Ranma and Ryouga went to the same High School just before Ranma left to train in China. Because it was an all boys school it was very out of control, everything was a battle. Being as lunch was no exception to the rule, Ranma and Ryouga would always fight over the last bread of the day. Ranma would always grab just before Ryouga could.

One day Ryouga got really mad and challanged Ranma to a deul in the lot behind his house. When Ranma arrived Ryouga wasn't there. Ranma waited 3 days and then was drug off to China by his pop. Ryouga arrived on the 4th day and vowed revenge on Ranma for walking out on their man to man fight. Ryouga followed Ranma to China and was pushed off a cliff into the Spring of Drown Pig by a girl chaseing a panda. From that day on Ryouga started training to become the best martial artist so he could kill Ranma in combat. Of course it never happened that way and Ryouga just got madder.

Ryouga finally caught up with Ranma and challenged him again. Ranma and Ryouga continued to fight until an accident cut Akane's hair off. Ryouga left and came back a few days later. It was about 2 am and Ryouga challenged Ranma again. They were thrwon out into the rain by Genma/Panda where they began to fight. Ranma soon found out that Ryouga had a curse. Of course when Ryouga got hit in the head by one of Akane's weights and was splashed he ran off before Ranma could find out what he turned into. He found Ryouga's stuff and a dog.

Meanwhile, back at the dojo Akane was returning to her room after throwing a weight at Ryouga, thinking he was a robber. She comes across a hurt pig and picks him up. Not knowing it's really Ryouga in Jyusenkyo form she makes him her new pet P-chan. P for pig and chan for cute. Ranma drags the dog home thinking it's Ryouga and vows not to reveal his secret. Some kind of man to man thing. Akane asks him why he has the neighbors dog in the house and Ranma face faults. Turns out it's Bessie from next door. Ranma goes to take a bath and Akane tells Ranma to take P-chan with. Ranma doesn't like it but what can he do? Female Ranma throws P-chan into the tub and voila! We have a winner!

That's right, he turns into Ryouga. Ryouga soon finds out that it was reallly Ranma who knocked him into the spring and he becomes agrier. Things don't pick up from there but it mainly continues as the characters fight from one epissode to another. Ryouga gets lost, new character is introduced, Ryouga comes back to fight Ranma, they team up to battle new enemy, Ryouga gets lost and so on. Poor Ryouga, he tries so hard. Luckily, in the movie "An Akane to Remember", Ryouga gets to pound a traumatized Ranma at the end. It's pretty cute. Of course he promptly gets lost and misses the ending where Ranma and Akane walk away holding hands. If Ryouga only knew, his heart of glass would be crushed.
