~Races~

You start off in some weird text room that makes no sense at first usually, but as you get the hang of DR(if you like it) it'll make more sense, and you'll probally want to repick your person later, I'm not going to go into constantly rerolling now, but I will later(read through my guides first, before doing something, always). Here's the races and some stuff on I guess you could say appearance, and other things.

Human- Human is a human, the average or medium for all races and skills, your standard person.
Elf- Pretty much a human but faster and more agile.
Gnome- A short, smart race, not strong, but intelligent. New to the Realms.
Dwarf- Short ugly people, the females even have beards, I've been told they have higher stamina and also resist poison better than most races, only race to use certain dwarven items.
Halfling- I'd say a half elf, half human, but it isn't apparently, like a Hobbit pretty much, they have hairy feet, are short, and good at smoking pipes.
Elothean- Bright Humanoids, like humans, but more etheral I guess, more magical in nature.
Gor'tog- Tall stupid things, much like a giant or Ogre, strong and able to take pain, they're also bald and can have weird skin colors.
Kaldar- Closest to the Humans, but taller and stronger, yet smaller than the Gor'Togs, not entirely fierce or war-like. They're New to the Realms.
Prydaen- A cat-like people, who have tails and body fur. Their appearance can be quite extravagant, some even wear turtle shells all the time, which is.. odd. A new race to the Realms.
Rakash- Were-wolf like race that changes according to the Moon of Katamba. Their features change from wolf to human form. New to the Realms.
S'kra Mur- Snake-like people with tails, they used to be the only race with tails, but there's the new ones now, they also hiss funny, but tails can carry stuff, but can also be cut off, they're bald and have colored scales.

II.

~Guilds~

After you pick a race you're supposed to join a guild, at first you're a commoner and most commoners don't make it in the realms, in fact I don't think you can even buy much at stores, or at all if you're a commoner, plus you don't get as many TDP's or any for circling, and no guild bonuses. Guilds you can join and tidbits about them are:

Accept/Decline
Health- check your current state(minus internal injuries unless they popping up to the surface
Exp- all your exp, also try EXP RP
Avoid- for various things

~Tour Guide~

Principality of Zoluren- Where you start off the main Province
-Crossing- aka- cursing, xing, or some kind of derogatory remark, the main City of the Realms, you'll find all the guilds, your basic weapon/armor shops, everything you need to train your stats, pretty wide range of hunting from rats to guardians in a short walking distance. Takes awhile to discover everything in town if you don't already know about it. You could live in Crossing the whole time, items from other lands always float in and are for sale, and you'd only have to leave to get to a faire/invasion, or to buy something that's not available there.
- Tiger Clan- Small Clan home outside Crossing West Gate, has a dyer, small(crappy) weapon shop, pub, Trader Outpost, a few other small useless shops, also now has a Manor that has Tog porno under a bed, and an area to hunt Dark Spirits
- Wolf Clan- further out the West gate on the other side of the creek and to the south, they repair spears and leather here(unlike the crossing repair shop), they also sell pretty decent leather armor and accessories, a trader outpost, and of course, a pub.
- Knife Clan- Instead of heading south toward the Wolf Clan you can go North to the Knife clan, and through a long path of pointless bushes(it helps to have someone show you the first tiem) you get to a town with a trader outpost, metal dyer, knife seller(throwing knives here are nice, prefer the Haven Bone knife or a tago though), they also sell some crappy leather armor, I believe they might also have a pub, and of course their town guardian/bush
- Arthe Dale- normally called Dale, some call it arthe, heading out the NE gate you'll soon run into the quaint 'fun' town of Dale, they have a tree to climb then dive into a lake, a crazy old man(can't have a town without a crazy old man), a boy dressed like a scarecrow, oh yeah, and a trader outpost, map shop(never seen anything there though), a neat clothes shop(polka-dot stuff and smoking jackets), a music shop, a pub(of course), a neat odds 'n ends type shop that sells nifty clothes(hooded cloaks), dolls, and some spiffy weapons(gleaming short swords, pot pan hats, turtle shell shields), but can be expensive, this is probally the most laid-back town(well one that actually has people frequently)
- Kaerna- Futher North near the Rock Trolls' barricade is this 2 room town, has an inn(with a pub), and the room over has a general store that sells clothes, feathered charms, tarps, and a woodsman's hatchet(war mages might need these later in life), and some nifty but not so affective armor and other things
Stone Clan- Heading North you get to a trader outpost, go up the trail and (not saying you should SAY this, but it might help to SAY the word GREK right here, but i'm NOT saying that, ok?) You'll see some guardians, figure out how to get past them and you can get inside stupid place that is like empty, I only know of the Hoy that's open here, they sell Metal stuff, well dwarven metal stuff(meaning lumps of metal in the shape of sticks and they call it swords and is either heavy, or really heavy- aka 2HE) better place for plate armor users, also in the general area is cave bears, beisswurms, s'lai scouts
- Dirge/Darkstone Town- past the bridge and past reavers is a track that takes you to Dirge(i call it Darkstone town, it's original name before it was taken over by thieves), they have a Pub, trader outpost, Weapon shop(pretty decent), alchemist shop(or had one), and some other shops, is an ok town, noone's around. They also are home to one of the 3 sanrisi tress. They also have madmen and skeletons about this town too.
- There's a Lone Shop on the Zoluren/Therengia border that has clothes, i'm not to sure what province it's in but i'll go here, it's past the Volcano's but before crocs.
- Leth Deriel- called Leth, SOUTH of crossing, yeah you take a ferry south from Crossing to get to here, it's the Elven City, kinda diamond shaped, they have expense elven weapons(meaning sharp edge, but flimsy, most of these are heavy for some odd reason and crap), pub, liquor store(finer wines), dyer shop, hair stylist, carrying shop(baskets and mesh sacks), a new store that has cougar-skull pouches, and mesh harness(real big harnesses) among other things, they also have a shop that sells skins, and there's a Soothsayer's hut after you get off the ferry before you get to Leth, she HAD witch balls(but haven't been seen since they sold out), she carries regents(rabbit ears, goblin eyes), as well as some nifty items(brooms, ceremonial daggers)

Province of Therengia- The next major province North of Zoluren after you cross the river, based around a Lake and River and some nasty wastelands
- Riverhaven- called haven, my home town(well i call it that), they have all the guilds(minus ranger, moonie and ranger, cause they're bums and moved), every stat training, an ok weapon shop, 2 armor shops(the new one's good), some above basic hunting to I guess begining advanced(swamp trolls are nothing now, and ogres are iffy as to how hard they are cause of their stamina.) This town used to keep to itself, home of the higher ups(crocs were withing a few minutes and swamp trolls right there) who used to hang out together, have some of the most intelligent gweth-babble(i don't care what you say), and was pretty friendly(except to tournies), but everyone seemed to move on after harder things became available and they pretty much destroyed the gweths. The town still carries a lot of people, but not as many as they used to, there's a lot of neat things here also(underwharfs, the mystic tree out in arbies, the boulder areas in rats and the creek), also Clerics might have to come out the old sluagh(think it's just dyrachis now) area at night, the ghost does get lonely.
- Langenfirth- called Lang, Across the lake from Riverhaven is the Ranger town of Langenfirth, they have a bowry shop, the ranger guild, a small portion of the lake to swim in, and rangerly type stuff here, also a trader outpost, and furrier, not much really, sorry...
El Bain's- they have some heavier liquors, also sell slender tip arrows(can get from kelpies a few rooms away though), and other goods
- Therenborough- refered to as Theren, as far north as you can go in the realms, has a hospital, carousel square, bath house, a haberdashery type shop, gem/furrier/pawn shop, a place to buy divination bones(from the angel, past the baby rats), armor repair shop, general store with some nifty stuff, and shield engraver(on inside of shield), they also have a birthing home, but it serves no purpose). It is also home to Theren's Keep, where there's moats and spider wolves under it, they also have a armor/weapon shop that's pretty good inside(a bit hard to find without a map though), also a paladin guild)
- Gypsy Camp- although it's been locked up a few years now, they used to seel trinkets and stuff, the rock to the camp is still there, but locked, it's past the Wall outside Theren, way to the north in the marauders area
