The Time Senshi: An Introduction

Pluto and her Garnet Rod, the staff she uses in order to do her attacks. The Garnet Orb of the staff is the third talisman, which came from her heart crystal.

Like me (the oldest of the Kraiders), SailorPluto is the oldest of the Sailor Team. But that isn't the reason why I like SailorPluto. Well, when I first saw SailorPluto, I was really impressed by Pluto's good looks.

Sailor Pluto has a very serene countenance that gives her an aura of mystery. She is also usually alone, for she is the Guardian of Time, and she could never leave her post unless there is really a need to. There are two other rules--aside from the first rule that we have mentioned--that she must obey as the Keeper of the Gate of Time: (2) Never alter time, and (3) never stop time. She has broken all three rules at one point or another, and when she broke the third rule (in the manga) she died.

In the manga, SailorPluto's present form first appeared as Meiou Setsuna, a physics student. She worked for Professor Tomoe so that she could find out more about the Death Busters.

In the anime, we all believe that she was sorely neglected. Not much is shown about her except that she wears the same clothes everyday (oh, she no longer wears that purple skirt in SailorStars. The skirt evolved into a pair of pants). Pretty ironic because her talent is sewing and designing clothes. She does wear the coolest clothes in the manga, though.

She first appeared in her future form in SailorMoon R episode 75 and in her present form in SailorMoon S episode 111.
