 <-Bodhisattva-> A Statue of Bodhisattva - Here's the guy Steely Dan was singing about. Bodhisattva was a follower of Buddhism who practiced ascetism (eating VERY little) to mentally & spiritually go beyond the entrapments of his body.

 <-WANTED!-> WANTED! Aum-Shinrikyou Cult - The top-left & bottom-right are Japanese wanted poster for the people who sarin gased the Tokyo subway. Also, in the top right is an anti-gun poster. Guns are illegal in Japan.

 <-Buddha's figure-> Rock Statue of Buddha - Here's the figure of Buddha carved right out of a small hill. This carving is located outside a Buddhist temple in northern KyuShu.

 <-Dragon Bowl-> Ornate Dragon Bowl

 <-Buddha's figure-> Another Rock Statue of Buddha - Here's another carving from the same hill as the previous photo.

 <-Wooden Dragon-> Wooden Dragon - This photo is taken from the underside of a dragon carved out of wood. It's located at a Buddhist Temple in Shizuoka.

 <-Kunchi-> Karatsu Kunchi - This is one of the floats from the infamous Kunchi festival in Karatsu, Kyushu. There are fourteen floats in all, and they are all over 100 years old. Talk about good maintenence.

 <-Statue Garden-> Buddhist Statue Garden - Look carefully... Do you see four separate statues? These statues are from another Buddhist temple in Shizuoka..

 <-Wrapped Tree-> Wrapped Tree - I believe this tree has been wrapped to protect it from bugs or something. Regardless, I like it just to look at.
