Introduction to PQ Angels!

PQ Angels is the super kawaii new manga series by Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon, running in the shoujo manga magazine Nakayosi.

I confess, I have never actually read the manga, but I have read the translations and seen the pictures over the Net, and it seemed like such a majorly kawaii and wonderful manga, I couldn't help but make a page honouring it! ^_^

PQ Angels begins when two aliens, P-ko (Peanut) and Q-ko (Kyuuri) arrive on earth from the planet Fuiren. They have some sort of duty to carry out, but it's not really clear yet what it is. They take the forms of cockroaches but when they "kiss" or land on a human's lips they transform into humans. ^_^

The PQ Angels have 3 Principles, which they must uphold:
1. Do not injure a human.
2. Protect yourself and your allies.
3. Do not fall in love with a human.

The PQ Angels are the Fuiren Queen Anko's strongest bodyguards, the Orc Halberd Oniwaban, on their home planet of Fuiren. As a symbol of their status, P-ko and Q-ko both were given figures of golden dolphins, known as "shachibone." The Queen resides in Fujiyama Castle, that can only be reached by set of 108 steps. However, just after P-ko and Q-ko were promoted to Orc Halberd Oniwaban, Queen Anko mysteriously vanished. I just thought of something...perhaps the PQ Angels are on earth to look for their queen? (shrugs)

The "bad guys" in this manga are Cyanophos, Bromophos, and Prothiophos, the Succi Sisters of Pyrethrum Airlines. They are out to follow the PQ Angels and get something from them, simply referred to as "the object" that their ruler, Pyrethrum-sama, desires.
