Meanwhile Lithiel began to collect those with the right sorts of power to stop Kitalia, first picking up Ajani in Egypt, then Shayne, Demi, and Cai in London. He brought them to his home in Paris while he waited for the Demonkinde who was to lead this group to surface.
And surface she did, pitching pool balls at Mercury before he could inform her that the Deities had chosen her, Sira, to lead this little group. The twins, not trusting Lithiel, located her, and Shayndel and the twins teleported to her club.
Meanwhile, Kitalia and Basilisk went to Paris to locate a Fallen Angel, who seeks redemption, running into Lithiel who gave Kitalia back some orbs of hers that she seems to have had before her entrapment in her human body. Then a woman appeared who was almost identical to Kitalia, and wished to bring the Fallen back to her Village.
She turned out to be a strange new Demonkinde tribe, and they don't seem to be any other previously known species. They claimed to be sired by Kitalia, which is impossible since she never had a child. It turned out that it was a part of the spell that trapped Kitalia in her human form.
Lithiel, meanwhile, caught up with Shayne and the twins, bringing Ajani along, and informing Sira of her task. She balked at first, but then after Shayne's request and a talk with her own Deity, she agreed. An Angel, Sephrael, also joined the group.
And a strange new arrival on earth has decided he likes Humanoids.
