Serena’s House, Saturday Morning about Six

The sound of insistent beeping can be heard from beneath the mound of blankets on the bed of a VERY messy room.  A few seconds later, a hushed conversation in a sleepy voice.

Quickly, faster than is normal this early in the morning, a girl with blonde meatballs jumped out of bed and, glaring at the clock, grabbed her broach and held it up…

MOON CRYSTAL POWER!!!

After her transformation was complete, Sailor Moon jumped out the window and began racing for the park and the other Scouts.

At the Park

The Scouts were spread out around a snakelike monster, trying to figure out *how* to bash the sucker.  None of their powers seemed to be working as it was immune to fire, ice, and electricity, and Venus’ chain kept bouncing off.

The girl with blonde meatballs, dressed in a blue, white, and red sailor type outfit appeared behind Mars and Jupiter and began her speech.  "I am Sailor Moon, Champion of Love and Justice.  For waking people up on the weekends, I will punish you!"  As she was posing, Snaky lashed out at her with her tail.  Jupiter saw this coming and shoved Sailor Moon out of the way.  Snaky got Mars instead, slicing deeply into her side.

With a moan, Mars slide to the ground, clutching her side.  Sailor Moon saw this and went defensive.  She whipped out her Scepter and pointed it at Snaky.  "You’ll pay!!"

Unbeknownst to the Scouts, a female figure with a long, black braid watched the fight and saw something fall to the ground when Moon pulled out her Scepter.  She darted in, grabbed it, and went running in the other direction.  Sailor Moon ignored her and blasted at Snaky with "MOON SCEPTER ELIMINATION!!!"

Snaky just stood there, hardly flinching, as the energy poured into her.  Then, when Sailor Moon was weak, Snaky lashed at her.  She got in a lucky shot and her tail hit Moon in her legs, knocking her down.  The scepter went flying.

The young girl had seen this and gotten quite mad.  She looked down at the small key in her hand and then smiled.  "So… the dreams *weren’t* wrong.  They were true."  She raised the small, black key into the air and called out…

"BLACK CRYSTAL ROSE ACTIVATION!!"

The girl was slowly engulfed in a wave of black rose petals.  As they slowly went from her head to her feet, they revealed Black Rose.  The first noticeable change was that her hair was loose like Mars’ and she had a black rose-like tattoo  on her forehead.  Next you could see she had on small, black rose earrings and black lipstick.  Around her throat was a silk band of black.  Her sailor outfit was next and it was ALL black and lacking in bows and the normal gloves.  She had only thin strips of black silk at her wrists.  Finally, she had on black ankle boots like Jupiter.

The petals finally vanished and Black Rose stood there with a large, key shaped staff with a black, crystallized rose at the top.

With a snarl, she launched herself at Snaky, kicking with her booted feet and slashing with her key.

Snaky gave a shriek of pain at the unexpected attack as it got through her scales and bit into her flesh.  The other Scouts just stared at Black Rose in utter shock.

Black Rose went quickly to Sailor Moon and gently touched her shoulder.  "Are you all right?"

Sailor Moon nodded, stopped wailing and got up.

Black Rose scowled, "You can’t kill her.  Only I can.  DAMNIT!!"  She then turned back to Snaky.  "All right.  For hurting my friends and my *sister,* I will kill you!"

Black Rose crossed her arms before her and began to gather dark energy between her hands.  As the energy grew, Snaky just laughed silently at what she thought was a weak attack.

But then it was too late.  Black Rose released a very large globe of dark energy at her shouting "DARK MOON SCREAM!!!"

Snaky, with a look of utter shock and surprise, melted into dust.  The only thing she said was, "WE…!!!"

Black Rose looked at the Scouts with a shy smile, then saw Mars’ wounded side.  She gasped and practically ran over and knelt by her.  "How bad is it?" she asked softly.

Mars smirked and sarcastically answered, "Not bad at all."  Then she winced and clamped her hand harder against her side.

Black Rose made a small sound of annoyance, reached out, and gently laid her hands over Mars’.  Her hands glowed darkly for a moment.  The glow quickly faded and she gave a small, tight smile to Mars as she backed away.  "How does it feel now?" she asked in a tight voice.

Not noticing the forced tone, Mars released her side and stared at it.  "It’s.. it’s.. healed?" Mars looked at Black Rose, "How’d you *do* that?!?"

Black Rose smiled, turned on her heel, and limped off into the park using her key like a staff.

Mercury quickly ran to Mars and scanned her.  "Yes.. She appears to have completely healed your side.."  Both girls looked puzzled.

Sailor Moon slowly got to her feet and looked around for the strange Scout.  Unable to find her, she turned to her Scouts.  "OK..  Just WHO was that???  And which of you has a sister??"

The other Scouts looked puzzled and just started whispering between themselves.

As they talked, or whispered, a young girl dressed in a pair of black jeans, a tight black shirt, and black boots walked, limping slightly, up to the fight scene and stopped short on seeing the Scouts.  "OH MY GOD!!!  IT’S THE SAILOR SCOUTS!!!"  She quickly ran, with a limp, up to Sailor Mercury, her black braid bouncing, and held out a piece of paper. "Can I get your autograph?!?!  PLEASE!!!"

Mercury just looked at her with a puzzled expression.  "Uhmmmm… sure.  I guess.  Wouldn’t you rather get Sailor Moon’s or maybe Sailor Venus’?"

The girl smiled, "Sure!  After I get yours!"  She pointed at the paper.  "Just make it out to Ala!"  Ala smiled widely.

Mercury shrugged and wrote on the paper, then handed it back.  Ala went around to all the Scouts and got them to sign her paper too.  Lastly, she got Sailor Moon’s autograph.

Ala smiled at Moon and held out the paper, "Please make this one out to Alara."

Sailor Moon just shrugged and signed the paper, then handed it back.

As the Scouts were about to leave so Sailor Moon could go home to rest, a dark portal from the Negaverse opened up above Alara.

A person dressed in the gray Negaverse general’s uniform stepped out and grabbed Alara.  "I am Quartzite.  And for destroying Snaky, I will destroy you!"

Alara stayed quite still through this little speech, then went limp.  She slide to the ground and rolled away, coming up in a fighting stance.  "OK, bitch.  Feel free to play.  You won’t get away."

The Scouts quickly got into position and quietly attacked.

Mercury Ice Storm Blast!
Mars Fire Bird Strike!
Jupiter Supreme Thunder!
Venus Crescent Beam Smash!
Moon Tiara Magic!

Sailor Moon’s tiara hit Quartzite wrapped in the powers of the other Scouts.  Quartzite just laughed and flung it back at Moon, who couldn’t duck fast enough and got hit.  She went flying back into a tree and fell limply to the ground.

"NOOO!!"  Alara shouted as she saw this.  A black rose flared on her forehead as she turned to Quartzite.  "For this, I will kill you!!" she said in a deathly quiet voice.

Quartzite, not seeing the black rose, just laughed at her.

Alara pulled out her small, black key and whispered, in a harsh voice, "Black Crystal Rose Activation."

Her transformation quickly took over as Quartzite turned to face the Scouts.  The only ones she saw as a threat.  "OK, wimpy Scouts.  Time to DIE!!"  Quartzite flung a hand towards Sailor Moon, spraying out large shards of crystal.

Jupiter was quick to throw herself into the stream of crystal shards and screamed as a dozen crystals slammed into her front and side.

Black Rose saw this, and that Sailor Moon was still too weak to hurt Quartzite.  She quickly called out, "Hey Quartzite!  You’re monster fell to *my* weakest attack!  You want to beat up the culprit?  Then come and get me!"  With this she pulled up her Dark Moon Key and twirled it around before pointing it at Quartzite.

Quartzite turned and looked at the new Scout with a look of annoyance.  "I rather doubt that you killed Snaky with your weakest attack.  She was the strongest monster I’ve sent at you," she sneered.

Black Rose just smirked and called out, "DARK MOON KEY DESTROY!!!" and aimed it at Quartzite.

Quartzite smiled as if this was just child’s play and brought up her shield.  This didn’t help as the dark blast of energy punched through the shield and hit her square in the chest, instantly turning her to dust.

Black Rose shook her head and ran to Jupiter.  "Oh dear…  This is going to hurt…"  She quickly laid her hands on Jupiter’s shoulders and closed her eyes.  Both girls began to glow blackly.  As Jupiter’s wounds faded from her arms, the same wounds appeared on Black Rose’s arms.  The same thing slowly happened to Jupiter’s other wounds, though the ones on her torso couldn’t be seen on Black Rose as they were under her uniform.

The glowing stopped and Black Rose pulled back looking slightly faint.  "There.  That should do it…" She then turned on her heel and began to limp quickly into the park, leaning heavily on her Dark Moon Key.

The other Scouts stared after her with a look of shock and amazement.  Then Mercury cried out because Black Rose totally passed out as she reached the edge of the trees.

Jupiter, with her new found strength, ran over and picked her up.  She then carried her back to Mercury.

Mercury began to scan Black Rose, then looked up at the others with a look of surprise.  "You guys…  Her DNA is close enough to Serena’s to be… her sister!"  The others gasped and looked from Sailor Moon to Black Rose.

"Well, that explains the mention of her sister," Mars said.

Suddenly, two more Scouts came out of nowhere and approached the regular Sailor Scouts.  They were both dressed like Black Rose only one was in all red and the other was in all blue.

The red Scout had blonde hair and the blue Scout had brown hair.  Both bowed quickly to the Scouts and introduced themselves.

"I am Fire Rose," said the one dressed in red.

"I am Ice Rose," said the one dressed in blue.

Both took one look at Black Rose and groaned.  "Alright, which one of you did she heal?" they both asked in unison.

Sailor Jupiter put on a look of pain and said quietly, "It was me."

Both new Scouts looked from each other then to Black Rose.

Fire Rose pulled out a small computer like Mercury’s, only red and with a darker red rose on it, and began to punch in information.  "I think we can help her.  She really shouldn’t use her healing powers though.  Considering that we only use our own powers and not that of our planets."

Ice Rose nodded and pulled what appeared to be a rose made of frozen water out of the air.  Fire Rose pulled out what looked like a small fire that was formed in the shape of a rose.

Power streamed from both roses into Black Rose for a moment, then stopped.

Black Rose’s eyes slowly fluttered open and she looked up into the faces of Fire and Ice Rose.  She smiled, "Hi girls.  Now I suppose you’re going to yell at me?"

Fire and Ice smiled, then looked at Sailor Moon.  "She’ll be fine.  How about you, Princess?" Ice asked.

Sailor Moon shook her head, "I’ll be fine in a moment."  She then looked at Black Rose.  "Uhm.. Amy said that your DNA matches mine close enough for us to be sisters…?"

Black Rose slowly got to her feet, leaning on her key, and smiled.  "Yes.  ‘Tis I, thy younger sister, Alara."

Sailor Moon frowned.  "Alara?"  The others frowned also.

Ice Rose glanced at Amy then quickly away, Fire Rose did the same to Ray.

Black Rose, not noticing her friends behavior, nodded to Sailor Moon.  "You might not remember me.  I tended to be quiet, out of the way, and easily ignored since I wasn’t Serenity."  The last was said with a trace of pain that she wasn’t able to screen out.

Black Rose suddenly turned to Fire and Ice.  "Come.  We must go.  We’ve said too much already."  With this, she jumped away from the scene, a look of pain on her face.  Fire and Ice quickly followed suit and also jumped away with a last glance at Mars and Mercury.

Sailor Moon frowned, "How rude."  She then heard the sound of sirens and looked at the rest of the Scouts.  "We should go too.  I’m sure we’ll see them again in the near future."  With this, the remaining Scouts jumped away from the scene as five police cars came up.
