After a quiet week of no attacks;

The Scouts, in their normal forms, sat around their usual tree at lunch time.  They were talking excitedly about what Amy had picked up from the new student Alara.

"So she’s the one?" Lita asked excitedly.

Amy nodded, "Yes.  She must have been summoned to help us or something.  Because her powers were already strong enough to beat the monsters from the Negaverse."

"But why don’t I remember her?" whined Serena.

Luna sighed, "Neither I nor Artemis can remember anything about the Rose Scouts or Alara"

Artemis frowned at Luna, "Well Luna, I had a dream last night about Mina, from the Moon Kingdom, telling me about Serena’s younger sister trashing a monster that the normal Scouts couldn’t."

Mina frowned, "I remember…"  Mina’s eyes went distant, "Serena was wounded and Alara, her younger sister, pulled out a key and blasted the witch.  It took so much out of her that she passed out just like Serena.  But Serena didn’t bother to check on her when she came to.  She just went into a private conference with the Queen.  Alara was so upset when I told her, she left the infirmary in tears.  Then Amy came out and said something, but I can’t remember because just then, the klaxon rang, informing us of the Final Battle."  Mina had tears in her eyes as she came back to the present.  "Serena… you didn’t even think about her."

Serena was in shock.  The same thoughts running around in her head.  "If I had a sister, I’d love her very much.  Wouldn’t I?"

Serena, not caring about the others, got up and ran across the school grounds to a secluded corner.  She collapsed against a tree and sobbed quietly as if her heart were broken.

On the front steps of the school;

Alara, Rhea, and Vesta were quietly talking when the other new girls, Juno and Demetria, came over and introduced themselves.

"Hi, we’re the other girls that just transferred in from the U.S.  We were wondering if you’d like to be friends," Juno said quietly.

Demetria nodded in agreement while Alara, Rhea, and Vesta just looked shocked.  Then they nodded slowly and Alara smiled.  It was almost like she knew these girls from somewhere, or was supposed to know them.

In the Main Part of the School grounds;

A monster appeared over a group of girls that were gossiping.  Molly, one of the girls, saw it first and started screaming.

Serena, hearing her friend’s screams, got up and ran for the screams.

Alara, Rhea, Vesta, Juno, and Demetria also heard the screams and ran for them.  Alara, Rhea, and Vesta were trying to figure out how to loose Juno and Demetria so they could transform.

Juno, on seeing the strange creature, stopped mid-step and gasped.  For some reason, she wasn’t just seeing the scene of the attack, she was seeing the past.  The VERY distant past, during which she was a warrior like the Sailor Scouts.

Snapping back to the present, Juno reached into the air and snatched what appeared to be a rose made of swirling clouds and sky.  She held it up to the sky it’s self and shouted "WIND ROSE ACTIVATION!!"

Demetria, almost slamming into Juno, also saw the scene of the attack and the distant past.  She held a hand out to the ground and a hunk of rock, shaped like a rose, flew into her hand.  She held this up and shouted "EARTH ROSE ACTIVATION!!"

Alara, Rhea, and Vesta stared as Juno and Demetria simultaneously transformed.  Juno was surrounded by what appeared to be clouds while Demetria was surrounded by dust that just came up and swallowed her.

As the transformations ended, Terra Rose and Wind Rose stood there.  Terra dressed in shades of brown and Wind dressed in white with sky blue accents.

Rhea, Vesta, and Alara quickly shook off their stupor and called out their own transformations.

FIRE ROSE ACTIVATION!
ICE ROSE ACTIVATION!
BLACK CYRSTAL ROSE ACTIVATION!!

Rhea was surrounded in flames that just sort of engulfed her.
Vesta was sealed into a tower of opaque ice.
Alara was hit by a wave of black rose petals.

Their transformations finished quickly and there stood the Rose Scouts.

"I am Black Rose!"  "I am Fire Rose!"  "I am Ice Rose!"  "I am Wind Rose!"  "And I am Terra Rose!"

"You won’t get away with coming to this school and terrorizing the students.  In the name of the Universe!  We will punish you!" they shouted in unison.

The creature turned and looked at the funny looking young girls and snickered.  "You expect me to believe that??"

The creature, this one looked a lot like a giant snail with a human head and arms, waved a hand at the Rose Scouts.  A wave of slime flew at them.

Wind Rose waved her hand in front of her, as if waving a fly away, and shouted "WHIRL WIND!!"

A sudden wind blew around the Rose Quintet and flung the slime away, toward the school’s science lab.

Wind let the wind die away and Terra Rose stepped forward.  "Anything else?"  She smiled and reached out with both hands and motioned, as if tying a not, and shouted "WILD VINE TERROR!!"

Several thorny vines shot out of the ground and wrapped around the snail-like monster.  The thing just grinned until the vines began to pulse with green light.  Instead of grinning, it started screaming as it was quickly drained of energy.

Terra gestured, as if cutting something with two fingers, and the vines got sucked back into the earth.  She turned to the other three Roses.  "Next," she said with a grin.

Fire Rose smirked and stepped forward.  "For the injury your fellow monster caused my sister, FIRE BLOSSOM!!"  She gestured, as if outlining what magma does when a volcano blows.  The ground beneath the snail creature belched forth what appeared to be a large scale copy of Fire Rose’s transformation rose.  The fire engulfed the snail creature, turning it to dust with the intense heat.

Fire let it burn for a few more seconds before making a snipping motion with two fingers, cutting off the flames.  All that was left was a burned circle of grass and a pile of dust where the evil monster had been.

Just then, Serena came upon the scene and skidded to a halt.  First thing she noticed was that she was late, as usual.  Only, this time, she was WAY later then normal.

Black Rose looked at Serena and sighed.  Then she turned to Fire and Ice.  "Is she always this late?"

Fire and Ice just snickered.

Wind and Terra were just looking at each other as if they were old friends and no words were needed.
