Headline: Not easy to be an 'Ultra-idol'
As the Chinese sayings goes 'Human being is wary of being famous pig is wary of being fat' (...when pig is fat it will be slaughtered...), those who are famous will be make used of. The most obvious one is Andy Lau. Taiwanese star Yu Gexuan who was a newbie 15 years ago because of filmimg one movie & fell in love with Andy, has since then thriving in the circle as 'Andy's ex-gf' all these 15 years.
Especially so when Yu published a naked self-portrait book in TW, on the promotional copy, the bk was put as 'Andy Lau ex-gf protrait bk'. If Andy Lau is not so famous, he wont be dragged into it. The love affair bet the 2, Andy had admitted it openly, now that he is being made use of, Andy could do nothing, just blame it on fate.
Actually this is also admitting having good fortune of oneself, if it is the lady who was famous & the man not so successful, then Andy will become 'Yu Gexian ex-bf', then it is Yu turn to blame it on fate, so in this world being used by others is better than using others.

People wanted to challenge Bruce Li, who was the World boxing champion at that time, had to come face to face with him, but with the heavenly kings, just passed the words like :'I was ever his lover', 'I was seeing him for 8 years & have 2 children', 'I ever had abortion for him' etc, there is no root to trace, if you have the guts & not shy, anytime can do it, there is no way the heavenly king can avoid, even purely made used of, whether the King stands out to deny or not, the person is famous overnight under the exaggeration of the media.
If it is just to make use of his popularity it was not so bad, the worst are those who illucinates she is 'the real gf', such as Derek Yee female fan who imagines she is already his woman & caused a lot of problems to the concerned....
Jacky Chan has many such type of fans, other than two Japanese girls who committed suicide, one HK fan will shout at him everytime when she saw him," Away from home for so long, who did you go? Hurry go home, BB girl & BB boy waiting for you at home for dinner."
....All these are the price paid by megastar when they are famous, not only they lost the privacy, they can be made used of, or troubled by fans illusions. Looks like it is not easy for an ultra-idol to earn their ricebowl.

Andy completed his Guangzhou concert (Sing Tao)
Andy had completed his concert in Guangzhou & is setting off to Shenzhen for concert this weekend. In his Guangzhou concert, not only his parents came, Hong Xian-ni, Alex Man, Li Liang-wei & his gf also attended.
The weather was bad in Guangzhou, it was raining the whole day since morning, Andy was v worried, luckily at the start of concert, the rain stopped.
Hong Xian-ni & Alex were v concerned too, seeing the heavy rain in the afternoon, they special helped Andy to pray for the rain to stop. They called Andy after that & told him not to worry, Andy was v touched. Li Liang-wei had prepared flowers to present to Andy on the stage, but did not do so as it might cause a chaos.
In Andy Mainland concerts, whenever there is Li Quan as guest there will be rain, Andy joked, "This person is a real VIP, much more powerful than me, haha." ('Quan' means spring water in Mandarin!)
Regarding the matter on Amy, Andy said he will not response any more, he hopes it can be over soon.

IFPI strongly protested TVB monopolising music world, TVB plans to take off singers contract rules under pressure (Apple Daily 10/6)
Whether it is on viewership rating or in the making of musical programmes, TVB is always at an advantage. The strict rule set by TVB on its contract singers includes that the singers cannot appear in any other TV station. This has caused continuous dispute between TVB & IFPI.
Because of this, IFPI has lodged complaints to the govt dept concerned many times, complaining that TVB monopolises majority of singers in HK, requesting the govt to excert pressure on TVB, allowing the singers rights to appear in other TV stations non-musical prg .
The concerned dept is likely to pass a rule later. Accordingly, TVB will fly into a rage with this, & retaliate.
Because TVB feels that if there is no more benefits with the contract, it will rather have no contracts with the singers. The ones most affected will be the new singers, those already have status will not be affected much.
In order to increase exposure in TVB for the new singers, the record co has to buy Air time from TVB to play the MTV at ad time, this increases greatly the cost of supporting the new singers.
With IFPI complaints, TVB has openly agreed to review the existing singers' contract & the programme regulations. TVB spokesman said they will be more careful with signing on newsingers next time, those with talent & potential will be signed on. The non-contract singers will have to buy advertisement time, priority will be given to contract singers during variety show. Isnt IFPI helping TVB to make more money?....
of the 4 Kings, Jacky Cheung & Andy Lau have no more contract with TVB, but they have also never appeared in ATV, so it is not only the contract that the singers dont appear in other TV stations.
....With the flourish of cable vision, ATV, & others, & the downturn of TVB musical programmes, the attraction of TVB by the singers has decreased, so the topic of momopoly is brought back, maybe this is the time to change.....

9/6---Today is the concert day in Guangzhou, but it has been raining non-stop since morning, Andy & all the fans were all v worried. After the rehearsal, Andy devotedly pray for blessings. Somehow after that the sky seemed to have calm down, at the start of concert, there was not a single drop of rain. Fans from all over the world, young & old, males & females, AWC members from China & other countries streamed in. Other than fans, Hong Xianni, Alex man, Li Liang Wei, Andy parents were present. As it in Guangzhou, Andy spoke in Cantonese mainly, he performed freely, the security were v strict with the fans but they were equally enthralled. Andy added 'Wonderers' Voice' & Innocent Love Cantonese songs for the fans. Other than new songs Andy wore a new semi-transparent Chongsum suit. Andy received many gifts including an ultraman, which he put aside & pretended to act as ultraman to much laughter from the sudience. When he sang You Are My lady he kneeled on the stage, the female fans were carried away! When the 2 female dancers came to wipe away his sweat, he joked, "Lately have many rumours abt my gfs, but all are false, actually these are my 2 ladies, one Ah4 one Ah8, but when you see them on the streeet dont beat them! When he sang the final Only You In Heart, he said, "My mother said I must dress up nicely when I sing this, is my hair in order? Everyone laughed & screamed... As the concert was very successful Andy opened champagne on the stage & celebrated with the fans, the concert ended in the most happy mood...

9/6---Today is again another very warm & a very unforgettable concert, saw many fans coming from many different places, icluding fans from all over the world, when I saw they were all so absorbed & carried away, I was very touched.
The only thing is an unknown reporter mixed into the scene, it affected & disturbed my mood, but I cannot blame him, as he is doing his job, he has to do it well, hope his superiors can be grateful to him.
Lastly, must thank my Papa & Mama for coming from HK to see my concert, thank you Hong Xianni who came, Li Liang Wei & Alex man. Thanks to all those who always support me! Headline: andylau.com exploded news that Amy ever failed in applying for job there, true face of Amy exposed!
Amy had claimed that she is a staff of andylau.com. But when photo of her true self was exposed, she was immediately identified by andylau.com staff & exposed her to be taking nonsense, lying, definitely a person not to be trusted! Because this person ever went for job interview at andylau.com but failed!
The staff at andylau.com said this person ever apply for job there, they had kept the application form filled up by her, so they are definite abt this. At the application, Amy apply for the post of a 'writer', the usual pay for a writer at andylau.com is between HK$8,000 to 10,000, but her resume was a graduate from Australia, they felt that she was not suited for the post, on top of that she is not computer trained, so they did not employ her. They are happy that luckily they did not employ her, otherwise not sure what the consequences will be.
At andylau.com yesterday, there was an announcement by one of its staff, Roy, to the fans, "Amy Tang ever claimed that she is a staff of andylau.com, but truly she is not a staff of andylau.com, she had applied for job & been interviewd, but was unsuccessful! This person is talking nonsense, do not believe her!"
Andy concert in Guangzhou sang out his loves
It was raining the whole day in Guangzhou yesterday, Andy concert was held at Tianhe Outdoor stadium. Fortunately the rain stopped just before the concert, the concert went on smoothly. The stadium housed 50,000 audience, abt 200 over HK fans went there to support Andy. DEspite the humidity & warmth after the rain, enthusiasm form fans was undaunted, Andy declared his love for his fans," I love You!"
Later, Andy wanted the fans to stand up, but the security disallowed, he followed, "Dont need to stand, just use your hands & wave with me. Andy became happier as he played along with fans, suddenly he pointed to the 2 lady dancers beside him, "These are my 2 loves, one called Ah-shi, one Ah-ba, you can call them, but dont beat them", he mockingly pretended to kick them! Of course, the fans were not jealous, Andy complied to the fans request & sang a few more songs, spending a sizzling hot evening together.

On the mention of Amy Tang who declared that she knew Andy 10 over years, Andy's father broke his silence for the first time, in a very firm tone, he said, "This time is really absurb, if it is really together for 10 over years, there is no reason I have no impression, never had tea together, compltely never met before."

After the concert, no celebration party was held, look likes he give no chance to be affected by the news at all....

Ever since the news on Amy who openly declared she is the secret lover of Andy broke out, reactions from the fans are intense, many leave messages on the net, worrying that Amy may be mentally unsound, & may disturb Andy, they tell Andy to employ Gurkans as close bodyguards.
When told abt fans' worries, Andy said he will do so when he is back to quell thier worries. He joked, "I'll consider their suggestions, but now I'm in Guangzhou, no where to employ, so I'll ask my 2 assitants to paint dark as stand-in first!"
Andy arrived from Shantou to Guangzhou yesterday. After checking into presidential suit, he slept & did not come out at all.
The reporters who arrived at the hotel found that security was extremely tight, no way of scaling an inch nearer.
Until 2 pm yesterday, Andy appeared & attended a fan club meeting, under tight security of 10 over guards. When the fans saw Andy, they screamed, some even yelled, "Andy, remember to choose Zhu Liqian ya! Zhu Liqian is pretty!"
Andy looking fresh, smiled knowingly , nodded & waved to the fans as sign of gratitude. The reporters wanted to join the fan club meeting but were barred, they were warned that negative will be pulled out if they violated the rule.
Actually this fan club meeting was supposed to be held 1/2 a year ago but was postphoned becaose of No.10 typhoon. Andy said because of his tight schedule, he is unable to meet all the fans in different parts of China, fans from different parts were told to attend this meeting, so the meeting consisted of fans from all over China.
Andy had jokingly told them to come with traditional Chinese costumes. After 1/2 a year, some female fans still remember, they dressed to the nines, many in Qipao & some traditional costumes, the scene was like a beauty contest!
The warm fans brought along champagne, cake & presents to celebrate with him for getting Best Actor award. The presents consisted mainly of food, including the stuff used for brewing soup. Andy was very happy to see them, he smiled saying that his 2 suitcases of food are finishing, these stuff just fit in nicely.
The meeting was over at 3:30pm, Andy left under tight security.

7/6---Reached Guangzhou after a non-stop journey. Guangzhou is familiar to us, it is the first Cantonese speaking city after so many stations, everyone felt at home, & missed the Cantonese food too. The locals gave them warm welccome, banners were up everywhere, on the bus & streets. Andy in his free time, played with computer all the time, he logged on to his website, he played games, he played with photoshop, sometimes party thro'out the night!
6/6---The weather in Fozhou is unstable, the workers have a difficult time preparing for the rain. At the rehearsal it was raining, Andy arrived in the rain, but everyone still practised diligently. Andy played with the rain water by squirting it onto the lamp, he videoed the scene, of course for andylau.com, his homework! It was still raining after the rehearsal, Andy & the producer had no choice but began to burn paper tortoises, it was said the tortoise will bring away the rain. Strange enough when Andy stepped onto the stage, rain stopped. The concert was completed successfully.
5/6---After along journey, arrived in Fozhou, the efficient workers were busy setting up stage, the advertising persons were on their feet too, they drove the van round to sell tickets. There were poster everywhere in the city.
Though said to be rsting, Andy had endless interviews, when he has time he will play with his computer, he has boundless energy!

8/7---Today my assistant's phone rang non-stop, every call is from HK, all circled around the hottest topic of today.
Really dont know how to communicate with these reporters, as they were also under pressure from the top, but we really have nothing to tell them, really when you are difficult I am difficlt too.
.But today I spent a happy day with the fans, keep a happy mood, to receive the show tomorrow. Andy
7/6---Title: Nothing to do with me, me naturally not worried
Not sure why, nowadays the media choice of news is lacking in professionalism, actually I felt a bit not worth for the media:
A common person, can openly challenge the media's intelligence, but this may be not bad, at least it gives the media a chance, let HK media shows off their analytical power , & know the responsibility given in their news report.
I have read all the news, including all those on the net. From this incidence, I can analyse the intelligence of the media.
Here I have only one word to say, " Degrading trend'! Ha! Ha!
6/6---Another rainy day, before the start of show, finally have to take out the hundred-year method, burning tortoises, after this ceremony, one Ah-Pa appeared, he passed by with his agile body, told me, "Dont worry, wont rain already". Up till the start of show, when the music was on, could still see threads of rain below the light, but when I stepped onto the stage, the rain stopped, this Ah Pa is just like a heaven god. Until encore time, there was still no rain, ater the concert at the hotel, gave Ah Pa a sumptios supper treat, hope he can be around to be my protector at every concert!
