2 nights ago Andy had a Live-chat with his fans at andylau.com, it was held at Kuan Tang AWC office, attended live by abt 200 of his fans . 
For the first time he held an unplugged live concert, other than those present, his 150,000 members on the net were able to log on to see. In the live-chat, the co-host brought up news on his recent romance several times, Andy adopted avoidance attitude.
In the chat, Andy said he did not write much lyrics lately, as it has to depend on his mood. Anna asked him if the recent news had affected him? Andy denied, saying this news has not affected him, but has affected 'them', he pointed to the fans.Andy said lately there were quite a lot of news. Anna asked which is the biggest news, Andy smiled & said the biggest news will be why he is so famous, all the other news out of the topic.
Seeing Andy avoided the topic on Zhu Liqian, Anna followed up with "Lately you have a lot of news?" Andy pretended to be angry, told her, "You go away, I've employed a wrong person tonite, you dont embarass me again!"
It was rumoured Andy has a child. Andy asked the fans if they believe, they all shouted, "Believe!" Andy appeared amused, replied that his friends around him seem to know more things happening abt him than he himself, he said if he has a child, let him know first.
Andy said he wishes to have 4 children, 2 girls 2 boys, but he prefers girls more.
A recent survey reveals that Andy stands second at being the most popular artiste for commercial ad. Andy was surprised, "Me? 2nd position?" Andy said an artiste image can afect the outcome of an advertisement....

....A market survey of consumers shows Chow Yin Fat tops the list of HK best loved film star to endorse products, collecting 18% of votes from 1000 people surveyed. Jacky Chan dropped to 2nd position with 7%, while singer Andy Lau was a close third with 6%. Singer Jacky Cheung topped the pop-singer category, followed by Andy Lau & Chinese pop diva faye Wong.

One-to-one Live unplugged
I could log on last night, but was cut off on & off, could see & hear Andy singing unplugged (few songs, including I Am Easy, Andy sang the song well!!), he chatting with Anna, & many fans laughing at the background. The board where fans posted questions soon went blank, with message--- server too busy, again traffic jam....

AWC had a fan club gathering yesterday, many fans started queuing up early outside the venue, including some moms with children in tow.
Andy was asked if there will be a tussle as Leon's webpage is coming up soon? He replied with ease, "Dont feel any, what he has I may not have, what I have he may not have, just like 2 different co, selling different products."
A survey showed that Andy was ranked third in popularity for advertising commercials. Andy said that his ad does not have much air-time, being able to get third position is a surprise to him. (Good man is usually more welcomed?)" Hahaha, I'm not a good man, criteria for good man is hard to fix, please dont say like that, this is a burden." (Do you think you're not a good man?) "I did not say so."
Andy added," There are requirements in the contract, the effect of an ad may be marred by an artiste image, such as when one exposed the bum in Wang Jia-wei's movie or in Wong Jing's movie, people view the value differently."
When Jordan Chan contract expired, it was rumoured that Team Work will sign him on, but China Star signed him finally. Asked if Andy fight with Mrs Hueng. Andy quickly denied, "No, no, I didnt fight with Mrs Hueng."
Andy gave out presents to 5 winners at 'Andy Buy Me This' contest, they had suggested using the money for respectable purposes.
Andy sang an English song.

28 mar----No filming today, wanted to write songs , but cannot think of the lyrics, so return to the office, actually they are doing casting. Wah~~~!! Find out actually there are so many handsome guys & pretty girls in this world, real lucky!! I was born earlier, otherwise it will be trouble!! 27 Mar----Wake up this am, make myself bread & oats for breakfast. After that think abt how to design & produce the new album, as there is a meeting at 3pm on this topic. Andy filmed an ad for eceasy.net recently. A 4-year old long-hair girl, Coco, was his co-actress. Andy was captivated by her pretty look, he kept praising her. The girl was shy & scared initially, but after Andy chatted with her & actively carried her, they soon became friends.
In this ad, both of them have to be suspended & fly in the air. Everyone was worried that the little girl will be frightened or could not stand the hardship. But to their surprise, she had a good time flying, saying it was like playing on a swing!
This ad will be released on 31st March over the net & TV. As it involves digital effect, production cost hit millions. The mesage of the ad is that it is easy to be online, from age 3 to 80, it is as easy as 'flying' up. Andy will sing an English song, I Am Easy, for the ad.

Headline: Andy learning 'change-face' has invited reproach from the Literacture & Art circle
Andy had successfully acknowledged famous Chinese Sichuan opera change-face master as teacher to learn 'change-face'.This is actually a common entertainment news, but it has invited reproach from art & literacture circle. Some Sichuan change-face masters worrried that the art will be drained out of the country, saying it has refuted the rule that the art is to be passed down to boy not girl, to own disciple & not outsiders.
The officers involved agreed that such matter has to be taken seriously, the art has to be classified under 'Knowlwdge right protection'. Change-face is years of intensive study by Sichuan masters, it is a national art. In '97 hangover of HK, such an art was performed to much acclaim.
Peng Teng Huai had stressed that his aim of accepting Andy is to promote the art, but this has invited much criticism in Sichuan.
Sichuan Culture dupety director was angered, "It's time for someone to look into this matter, Sichuan opera has only one rule all these years, change-face is not to be taught to outsiders, now you cannot anyhow teach a person!" Another person added, "This time is Andy Lau, next time someone from Hollywood more famous than Andy, do you still teach?"
Sichuan art circle was so irritated as this change-face mysterious art is one that both local & overseas art circle has been trying very hard to unmask it but fail. In the '80s, when one of the master performed in japan, they placed many cameras in different angles of the stage trying to exposed the sequence of change-face from all directions but still unable to solve the mystery.
Headline: Coincidental? Andy & Zhu Li-qian same handphone & watch
.....Zhu was spotted lately in Tsim Sha Tsui, an incidental finding was that the handphone on her right hand, watch on her left wrist were exactly the same pattern as Andy's. From all these trails, one can tell if they are lovers.
Andy being spokesman for a handpnone ad, because of contract, he can only use the brand he advertises. Last year, after filming the ad, he was given a few pieces of this model by the co, he gave one to Jacky Wu, one to Blackie Ko.
This time Zhu uses the same model of hp, it is understood if it was given by Andy.
Other than hp, both seems to like Cartier watches, this is also evidence of 'heart-to-heart'
Andy likes to collect antique watches, he has special fondness for Cartier new series of watches these 2 years. In TW last year, at a promotion, this watch co gave him a NT$600,000 gold-chain watch as token of appreciation.
Andy returned to the shop later to buy 2 more similar pattern of watches, one with black leather strap, one gold-chained, he was given a special discount. Now, the black-leather strap is on Andy's wrist, the gold-chain one appears on Zhu's wrist.

26 Mar----There is no work today, so had discussion with office colleagues on my next movie, when should we start filming??? Actually Full Time Killer is being planned, what is next I'm not sure either, still being studied. Now I'm waiting for tonight's JSG 1st Seasonal Selection, my song selected is Innocent Love. This song is good, I quite like it too, hope next season still has my song seleced, will it be Sweat or any other song??? Andy
25 Mar----For a long time there is no gathering with fans!!! V happy, today has many many friends gathered here, they are from TW, S'pore, Japan, M'sia, Korea, HK, Macau, & other countries, saw many new faces, see that they are so enthusiastic, I really feel v happy!! 
This year has the most nos of fans, more than 700, needs two sessions. The mood is v harmonious. Can see that they really 'pampered' me, really hope there is one more gathering soon. Sometimes feel that having gathering with them is happier than working!!! Andy

There was a report lately saying that Andy had promised that when he becomes Best Actor in HK Film Awards, he will announce his relationship with Zhu Li-qian & his wedding day.
2 nights ago when Andy attended TVB JSD, at the backstage he was asked abt this. Andy's face immediately 'sunken', he said, "This report is make up by the one who reported, I have never said this. Marriage is an important event, not to be simply decided."
The host wanted to ask further on Zhu, Andy replied with curt finality, " I Wont answer." He explained that he had said before, there is no meaning in asking again, whatever they want to write just carry on...
andylau.com will have a live concert on the 31st March, fans can watch it over the net. But andy's website always have bad traffic jam, Andy said they will improve on the server, it should be able to accomodate 50 to 60,000 viewers.

It was noted by Apple Daily that Andy & Zhu share the same lovers' bag! In Aug last year when Andy went to Tibet, the sling bag he used was exactly the same as the one used by Zhu when she was photographed in Oct. This type of bag is favoured by American skateboarders, branded Skechers, costing HK 100 over. One bag shared by two, enough to show their close relationship!....

....Zhu Li-qian or Carol Zhu is a Malaysian, she is 33 this year, her father is a rich property businessman. In '85 at the age of 18, she was the runner-up of a Miss Trendy contest. She came to HK to learn buauty course in '86. She knew Andy thro' a friend. Since falling in love with each other, the man works hard for his career, the lady willingly becomes the lady behind his man. Though Zhu is passed 30, she maintains her good look & demeanour.
Zhu works in M'sia but 3 years ago shifted to HK to do tour business, rumoured Andy supported her with millions of dollars, Zhu becomes the director of 3 companies!
Headline: Mrs Lau business exposed, rumoured company staff in full alert & keeps mum
....The reporter visited the alledged tour co 2 days ago. It was noted that whenever the word Mrs. Lau or Miss Zhu was mentioned, the office staff turned nervous, all eyes will be on the reporters.
From beginning to end, the staff neither denied nor admitted existance of such a person. The reporter noticed that within the office there were a few staff working, there is no Miss Zhu, looks like she wont appear in the near future.
At 12 noon yesterday, though the co was opened for business, & was near to closing time(Saturday), the staff were all still on full alert, when the reporter stepped in, the relaxed mood suddenly turned tense, when the reporter said he was looking for Mrs. Lau, the staff politely asked him for the purporse. When asked for Miss Zhu, there was no direct reply, instead was told someone will be introduced to assist the reporter, just to distract the query.

If Andy were to announce his relationship with Miss Zhu, nobody will suspect he is a gay anymore! Earlier on when Andy accompanied Zhu Li-qian to visit relatives in M'sia, a reporter bumped into them at a restaurant, he wanted to take photo but was stopped by the security.
Actually Andy is not young anymore! Zhu has followed him so many years. In HK he always followed his parents to posh restaurant for tea, he is v filial, fans can of course accept his better-half, openly declaring their relationship, giving Miss Zhu an 'official name' is only right!

Headline: Andy as mystery guest to accompany fans for tour & feast
andylau.com & Sun Enegy Tour co organised a one-day tour, on the 9th & 16th of April to tour Fu-shan. The fee is only $88. Andy will appear as mystery guest to accompany the tour & sea-food feast. The tour includes visit to Insect museum, Bird reserved area, historical trial & Birds Paradise....
Though the itinerary does not include Andy, it is known that Andy will eat with the fans.
Andy has filmed a green tea ad recently, it will be released soon.

325 BBQ Hongkong by AWC

Yearly BBQ is always a favoutite event for AWC members, this year the response was just overwhelming, instead of the usual single session, a morning & evening session had to be held to accomodate 700+ members!!
Katherine was in the evening session, we set off at abt 3:30pm to Repulae Bay, a convoy of SEVEN buses, abt 50 to a bus!! What a busy load of bumble-bees! All in club uniform.
The HK helpers were v friendly & efficient. When we reached there, we hurried to finish BBQ-ing all the food, & we hurrued to dump those food down the throat too, as Andy can come any time.....
True enough, before we had settled down to eat, the 'bees' buzzed busily, Andy had come!! He was in high spirit, smiling & waving. He wore a grey jacket with maroon strip down the sleeves & front, & 'A' sneakers. All cameras & eyes were on him, nobody was interested in food anymore....Andy sat down & helped himself to food, chatting....kept telling us to go back & eat...He is v spotting, he ate the food we were eating too! He teased & posed for us to take photos, he streatched himself so much....exposing his mid-riff....he was just naughty!
The most exciting moment came when he got off to take one-to-one photo with every members, oh my, & he had just done that to 300+ members this am,...the never ending phot-taking, & Andy still keeping his smile & eagerness, all the fans looked on merrily...
Andy took a big gulp of drink, he rested a while, then was Q & A time. The Japanese asked him lots of interestng questions, he mimiced as though he knew the language, to much laughter! Taiwanese teased him with their dialect too.
(Despite the 'news' that was splashed over the media in HK, his fans just love him too much, everyone was mum abt it, nobody embarassed or upset him in any way, what great fans Andy has, CHEERS!)
Andy had the fans to choose the songs, we sang World's No 1 along with him, to a rousing start, followed by Innocent Love, Blame It On Me, ???(forgot), & Only U In Heart, concert-stlye. With much reluctance, we parted with him, not fogetting to hold his hands on his way out....everyone was fully satiated, not by the food but by Andy, thanks for the fun, Andy!.....

23 Mar----On waking up early in the am went to see rough-cut of the ad, though can see the result, but still not sure how the whole ad feel!!! Following this is a meeting in the office, with a gp of foreigners, like a dumb, better pick up more nglish!! Andy
22 Mar----During the obeisance in Beijing, feel rather unhappy!!! Actually my original aim is to learn some new stuff, but some people mistaken me as it is just for propaganda, ai!!!! Doesn't matter lah!!! Just to learn 'change-face', suffer some stress is worth it. Hope one day I can successfully learn this Sichuan opera art, let this mistaken concept disprove itself. Night time return to HK, delay 2 hours in Beijing airport, on reaching Hk, they were doing fumigation work, must take a long cut to reach the gate, ai!!!! So hard!!!! Andy

Andy's better-half Zhu Li-qian again exposed! Since she was spotted in Oct last year, she has not appeard at all, her trail is a mystery. But lately the reporter has successfully detected a tour co named Jing Shin owned by her, & had taken pictures of her, & has discovered that this lady behind Andy actually works as a white-collar worker from 9 to 5, & accordingly this co is invested by Andy with millions of dollars.
(Sorry.....Andy, what is reported on the papers may not be all true, I'm just translating, fans who read please dont believe all....Katherine has bought the magazine in HK, give me some time, I may show you the pic....Miss Zhu is graciuos, sweet & simple...lady of good virtue....)
Whenever Andy is outstation, Zhu's co will take care of the tickets & hotel, even Andy's related co such as BMG, Team Work are Zhu's customers.
According to a worker in the co, Zhu appears only 2 to 3 years ago, only know she is from Malaysia, now staying in HK, she will come to the co every other day, at first they called her Miss Zhu, later learned that she is married, so called her Mrs. Lau, added that Zhu is very courteous to the workers, only thing is she wont talk abt her family.
Actually it was rumoured that Andy & Zhu were registered in Canada in '92, among Andy's friends & his parents, Zhu is already Mrs. Lau, what is lacking is just a name. In the interview last year, Andy has neither denied nor admit, but stressed that this is his family matter & not a scandal, as if admitting in silence.
When Zhu was spotted, she was so protective to her love that she refused to admit her surname is Zhu, & said the reporter had recognised a wrong person, but when Andy's name was mentioned, she gave a secrective smile sweetly. She left in a Taxi.
According to Andy's good friend, Andy said when he gets Best Actor award in HK Film Awards, fullfilling his dreams of many years, he will openly announced his relationship with Zhu.
Zhu who has maintained her strong love for Andy in these 14 years, has always been in v low profile, but for the love of him, she tediously takes care of Andy, including choosing his clothing at a famous boutique in Central, Joyce, even alteration of clothes she looks into it, Andy's sister needs not worry any more. She herself just assume simple attire, it is beieve Miss Zhu is a capable & hardworking good wife, Andy is really excellent in his selection!
The reporter has contacted Andy, thro' his asistant, he replied he does not wish to answer.
