11/5---Today is birth date of Buddha, is a public holiday, but for me, it is still a working day, still have meetings. But today my mood is a wee bit excited, tomorrow I will set off, to begin my China concert tour. Andy

Yesterday morning Andy set off to Jinan for the first leg of his concert tour in China.
Abt 100 fans were at the aipport to see him off. They were orderly & gave Andy presents to wish him success in the concerts.
After Jinan, he will continue to Shenyang, Qindao, Hangzhou, Shandao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen etc.
Andy was asked how will the style of the concert be compared to HK's, he replied that it will be abt the same, abt 90% alike. A few new songs have been added, the stage will be 3-sided instead of 4.
In his HK concert, there was a sizzling dance with a female dancer on a motorbike, as this a daring act, will it be banned in Mainland? Andy said there should be no problem, dance will be the same, it is not forbidden. The motorbike has been shipped over.
Regarding the news that many places have vied to hold his concert, Andy said he is not too sure, if there is approval letter & schedule is right, he will go.
The concert in Dalian was cancelled as it clashes with a big-scale Fashion show, Andy had actually preferred Dalian.
When Andy was told a female fan cleans the poster for him everyday, he joked that if her hands become roughened due to cleaning, her bf may blame Andy, this job should be left to the workers.
The recent news reported that 'Pauline Chen again becomes a vagrant', shw was spotted squatting in a daze by the roadside sipping Green tea which was advertised by Andy, could Andy has influenced her to drink this tea? Andy just replied, "Ohh, ohh, ohh." Asked agin abt Leon's website violating national anthem of China, Andy replied, "I don't know!"
Andy said he is happy with the support from all since the launch of his dotcom, this is only the first step, in June, he plans to launch the main menu, www.andyworld. The site will introduce & sell products, designed by Andy himself. He joked that this should be a profitable business.
Other than this, in the second half of the year, he will introduce a site that will nurture stars for the future. They have begun recruiting candidates, from the netizens selection, 4 to 6 will be chosen for promotion by Andy himself to become stars of tomorrow.

10/5---Today again has new work, beginning of busy time, as I want to start doing my new Mandarin album, after a period of time, listen to lots of music, have chosen 8 songs now, with 5 as reserves, 4 to 5 out of those I wrote the lyrics. More importantly this time the music in my album will be more mature, songs of a more matured man, the younger ones may not used to them yet, but I believe I can move everybody. I will put my whole heart in doing music!!!! Andy

Headline: Andy concert tour in China evokes tussles among 3 cities
Andy China concert tour has not started, but the local newspapers are hot on reporting the news incessantly. One report has it that Andy has become the tussle of cities vying to stage his concert. Chang-choon, Da-lian & Shen-yang are fighting to have Andy, Shen-yang managed to clinch the deal finally. Fans from the other 2 cities have to travel to Shen-yang if they want to see Andy.
Andy has gone thro' much trouble in choosing Shen-yang as choice of concert. There are 6 concerts in China altogether, Shen-yang being the 2nd leg. Before it was confirmed, Da-lian has alaready started plans to stage his concert, but the Central Cultural Dept set a limit to the nos of concerts for HK & TW artistes, so this venue was cancelled.
Andy had planned Chang-choon initially instead of Shen-yang. But Shen-yang organiser took immediate action on hearing the news, they sent influential persons to Beijing & HK to discuss plans for the concert. As the nos of concerts is limited, the request was not granted. But the sincerity of Shen-yang people moved the HK concert organiser & changed the venue from Chang-choon to Shen-yang finally.
21 May Andy will be in Shen-yang. But before his arrival, there is already an 'Andy whirlwind'. The fans in Shen-yang really love Andy! There is a female fan named Han Mei, in order that Andy's poster will not collect dust, she insisted on going to the place where the poster is to clean it everyday. After 20 days od hanging up, the poster is still sparklingly clean!
This fan is all-rounded good student, also a student councillor. She said she loves music, loves Andy style of singing, after school everyday she will come to clean the poster, but to prevent the organiser from thinking she is a crazy fan, she comes quitely & leaves quitely...

Headline: Change-face guru: teaching Andy Lau is not against the rule
...Peng Deng-huai was recently interviewed by a local newspaper, he quoted what was said by the Sichuan Cultural Dept Head, "Teaching Andy Lau art of change-face is not against the rule."
Peng is sceptical on what was claimed to be the knowlwdge right, he said, "Since age of 5, I had been watching Sichuan art of change-face on my father's shoulders, since I enter the school in '59, I had more exposure, nobody officially taught me, I 'stole' the art myself, I develop on it, this is acommon art, nobody has special right to it."
Regarding 'leaking of trade secret', Peng does not think so, "In '89, the art was taught to 300 policemen for a performance, in the movie Change Face, the art was taught to the lead actor."

Afternoon attended a 'My Writing...' press con, one of the activity is 'Recycling Reading', if you have a good book, after reading it, you can donate it for others to share, this is not wasteful & can recycle, it is v meaningful, this activity is not bad!! Andy

Andy to disclose secrets of successful persons (The Sun)
Andy was at the press con of an RTHK programme yesterday. The prg, 'Recycling Of Good Books for More Reading', aims to raise 10,000 books from donations for loan to public. Mr. Chang Wen Xin from RTHK pointed out that Andy has a wholesome image & is good in literature, so was invited to help in promotion of reading of literature.
Andy donated a good book by Li Bi-hua, who is also the scriptwriter of Andy's first movie. (Also author of Lone ManSingle Lady)
It was said andylau.com main investor CCT co plans to list the site on the market, the site fetches a market value of 10 billion, as since launched in March, it has an average hits of 2,500,000 per day.
Andy said he is not aware of this, as this is managed by the financial dept, he is only a fighter on the battlefield. He added that he wears a green crystal bracelet symbolising he is a realistic worker.
Asked if his fans will be given shares or become members? He replied he will fight for priority for the fans, such as they don't have to queue with the public to get the forms, & maybe priority to buy .
Andy said he was involved in the work of re-organising of the web, the upcoming contents will features secrets of success behind 6 talented persons. It aims to nurture the younger generation, & to recruit new blood for acting, dancing...
Andy will be the first artiste to have a listed web if this is true.

7/5---Wah! Green forest scene, so beautiful!! When I step into New Centuary Sqaure today, realise it is the first time I promote the new song, Give Myself To You, MTV is not bad. One extra song is also released, You Are The Pride Of My Life, v touched!!! Really vv touched!!!! I also wish to dedicate this song to all the wonderful mothers, reminding you next Sunday is Mother's Day. After a press interview, rush to auction, Wah! So many people! The fans surprisingly know how to sing my new song, so happy!!! I sold my cardboard body for $2,600, not bad. Today, really v happy!! Andy
6/5---Today have the first meeting for the new company with all the workers, re-organise & re-delineate work of the staff, hope everyone can use their talent to work for the co, so the new co can be organised at the fastest time possible. After long day of meeting, so happy!!!! So satisfied!!!!Andy

andylau.com is up for 2 over months, news has it that Andy with its partner have plans to open shares on the market, as Andy website has a high page views rate, also Andy is one the rare few in HK to have his own copyright of his picture, the co thus has high prospects on the matter, planning has started, if it is successful, Andy web will be the first to go on the market, the market value for Andy's web is at HK$10 billion.
Andy is busy with his dance rehearsal for China concert yeterday. But his diary disclosed that his new co held its first meeting for it to be more organised, he is v satisfied & happy with the outcome, can be seen he is v ambitios with his career.

AFTER carving out huge camps of their supporters in Hongkong,
Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore, Andy Lau and Leon Lai are tussling
for the vast market in China. The Heavenly Kings are reportedly vying
for a lucrative advertising contract with China's biggest computer
manufacturer.
The firm, which has set aside an advertising budget of 300 million
renminbi (S$60 million), had planned on hiring Lai as its spokesman but had second thoughts when regional press publicised his alleged suicide attempt over sultry Taiwanese star Shu Qi.
Despite his adamant public denials, the company began scouring for a
scandal-free endorser and Lau became the prime contender.
Lau's manager confirmed this, but said negotiations were still in their
infancy.
The hefty fee is but a consolation prize. Being picked as the spokesman
will mean hitting a career jackpot of sorts as it will ensure quick access
to China's 1.2 billion people in the big-scale ad campaign.

Andy went to Mongkok New Century Square for the promo of his new Green tea commercial yesterday. The place was decorated like a forest, in accordance to its theme of recycling. There was premiere of the ad. which bears the song Give Myself To You. It attracted thousands to the scene.
Other than the premier of ad, there was an MTV of the song, You Are The Pride Of My Life. This is edited to include the happy moments at the HK Film Awards & Andy's celebrations with fans, friends & relatives. It is the first time Andy saw this MTV, he was so moved, his tears welled up in his eyes on watching it.
Said Andy," Very touched, actually I wrote this song long ago, at least half a year, I did not think of getting Most Popular Singer Award, I only think that all of you make me proud in my life, as many of you supported me, never thought I could get the award, so now have many thing s to share together."
Andy disclosed that he will release an EP, this can be said to be internationalised, as there are 2 English songs, I Am Easy & In Your Eyes, one Mandarin song, You Are The Pride In My Life, & one Cantonese song, Give Myself To You.
The song, In Your Eyes, was dueted with a famous Filipino singer, Sharon Caneta. The cooperation catches attention of thousands of Filipinos not only in Philippines but also in HK, they are v excited with the news. Andy has intention to enter the market in Philippines.
Andy hope the song will become the theme song for Empress Square where the maid gathered every Sunday.
Asked if his Filipino maid at home is proud of him?
"I have Indonesian maid, not Filippino"
Andy had a concert in Philippines 5 to 6 yeara ago, he hopes to have one there one day....
After the promo, Andy went to the Computer Exhibition for the aution at his dotcom booth. He sang 2 songs & hosted the auction. The human-size Andy was sold at $2,600.
Andy fans chartered 2 buses to follow Andy closely for both occasions.

Andy charisma extends far & wide. The reporters interviewed abt 50 Filipino maids, many turn out to be his fans, many had read abt the news of the cooperation from magazines.
They welcome the coopearation & wish to buy the album, but hope the prize will be abt $65, if it is more than $100, then will be too high for them.

Headline: Andy will hold concert in Shen Yang
Lately Jia Yang Org in Shen Yang China has announced that Andy will hold a concert on the 21st of May at Shen Yang Wu Li-he Stadium. This is the first time Andy holds a concert at the north-eastern part, also the second time a superstar from HK perform there after Anita Mui concert in '92. Andy with an entourage of 116 will hold a 2 1/2 hour concert, all the songs are specially selected.
The 3,000sq ft stage will have some parts with elevation mechanism, the audience seats are arranged step-wise.
The organiser disclosed that Andy's concert has make the people there extremely excited, for the last one week the hotlines ring non-stop day & night, the 2 operators have hoarseness of voice with the talking, the phones went out of order, 2 phones had to be replaced. The calls come from Shen Yang, Da Lian, Chang Choon etc.
The tickets are on sale in many places,response from the fans are v good, the prize goes as high as $400. This has never happen before. Group bookings are more than individual bookings. Many harp on the opportunity to do business, become agents to book tickets. Some even cook up news that Andy will have a football match & start selling tickets to the football match. They were caught & fined. Many cook up ticket prize.
The posters on the street are forever stolen or filled with kisses. Many go the ticket booth to enquire, some higher institutions in Da Lian have chartered buses for the concert.
Andy will stay in Shen Yang Shang Mao Hotel, many rooms were already booked by the fans who wish to get near to Andy.
3,000 security guards & police will be deplyed to safe guard the hotel & stadium.

Headline: Preview of the newly-crowned movie King green tea commercial
The new series of 'Dao Ti Green Tea' & 'Dao Ti Wu Long Cha' TV commercial will be out tomorow (8/5). This commercial is done by the newly-crowned movie KIng Andy Lau, with lots of somersaulting stunts, & aims to convey the message of protecting nature.
This TV commercial has 2 parts, namely 'Green Tea' page & 'Wu Long Cha' page. In the first one, Andy was in an all white attire, soaring easy & high in the blue sky.
In the Wu Long Cha ad, he wore black tee & pants, weaving thro' lush forest, absorbing the breath of nature, he did some somersaulting too, it is awe-inspiring.
To suit the theme of recycling, Andy wrote the lyrics of the song for this commercial, Give Myself To You. For this commercial, Andy has to be suspended with wires & writes the lyrics, he is putting in effort & heart.
The whole commercial was done 2 days indoor, the scenery at Thailand was done later & added in digitally, the production work is tedious & impeccable.
The ad director, Donald Tou said that Andy was chosen to do the ad as he had filmed an ad on recycling before, his image is healthy, he suits the co requirements of nature protection.
On his impression of Andy's perfromance, Donald said in a serious tone, "Andy's has v good stamina, he is very serious with his work & professional. Even when he had injured his left shoulder, he insisted on carrying on filming, he has the professional spirit."

16th International Computer Exhibition is now being held at the HK Exhibition & Convention Center from the 4th to the 7th. Most big co have set up booths to rope in members & clients, including the recent Andy & Leon's.
Andylau dotcom booth is located at the center of the hall, the space it ocupies is also bigger, the set-up is v eye-catching, the traffic is v heavy. Compared to Leon's, which is found within the Star East booth, & is located at the far corner end of the hall, obstructed by the other booths, if not for the hanging banner, it is not seen, the lay out is definitely more inferior.
Andy's booth is such a draw, the booth is always packed with visitors, many workers are there to give out human picture bookmark, 10 computers were set up , visitors can register as members on th spot, or purchase pictures of Andy from the net.
Andy's booth has many posters of him holding HK Film Award statutte, he is keen to share his happiness with everybody, with a lot of banners bearing the words: 'sharing....' & 'with you....'
An auction was held at 4:30pm, hosted by Nancy. The bid starts at $50. The items included autographed posters of Andy with the award, new version of mp3 player, ended with the one-man poster of Andy. All proceed will go to maintaince of dotcom.
The final bid for the autographed poster was at $1,300, mp3 with the starting bid of $700 went up to $1,300, as for the man-size from $300 to its final bid of $1,100. with $1,100 you can bring home Andy, it is real worth!
Andy's man-size pic & bookmark has the pose of Takashi Sorimochi, with the chest partially exposed, coupled with the enchanting look in the eyes, is really a kill. The interesting part being his exposed 'dot' which is revealingly on & off, v attractive, it is no wonder his booth is packed with surging heads of people!
Though Andy did not turn up at the exbition, his powerful appeal outweights that of Joey Yueng who was skimpily-clad & was employed by HK Cable to promote the site. Another co employed a new-comer to sing live but attracted only abt 10 over fans to cheer on.

For a long time Andy did not go on air, yesterday (4/5) he went for interviews at the radio stns. He was in a good mood.
He was awarded a trophy that he won recently as Most Loved Movie Artiste by the host. After receiving the award, Andy happily admired it & had a group photo taken, but after photo taking, when the interview resumed, suddenly from the studio came a loud 'Bang!' the trophy dropped & was broken! The host tried to salvage it, Andy's face changed color, but still he said politely & softly to the host, "Don't need lah!"
Luckily, Andy's unhappiness lasted for only 2 to 3 minutes, he was completely alright soon, & fielded listerners sharp questions with ease.
Lately there was a rumour that Andy bought 2 cars of similar design, Estima G, one for himself & one for Zhu Liqian. Andy was asked abt it, he denied saying he did not buy any car lately, & has no time to view cars. But he admitted he has interest to buy the car that was rumoured.
Asked if he will drop the idea of buying because of rumour, he retorted, "Why?" Andy feels that most important thing is it must suit a person, & he does not live for rumours. The one who reported this news must use his brain, who is so stupid as to but 2 similar cars?
A fan asked Andy when is he going to disclose his relationship with his gf? Andy joked that the question was jumped to the last one, he replied that "Dont be silly, nothing of concern, won't talk on this, all in all, my love life is all blank." Also, he said if he gets married, he wont hold a banquet, as he is worried abt missing out some people.
Andy gave in order of importance in his life as: Home, Career, Friends, Love! His first preference is his home! He can do anything for his family, the most difficult thing for him is to have a meal with his family.
Since family is so important, has he thougth of names for his babies? Andy had a good laugh, "Hahaha, v hard to give names with Liu as surname, boy I'll give Liu Lian Hua, girl Liu Shi Hua!" (Shi Lian means 'thinking of', i.e, thinging of daddy!)
The new generation is acceptive to donating sperms, Andy showed some reserve on this topic, he said, " I've not accepted this yet, my thinging is still v traditional."
The host asked Andy if there is a boat that can only take him & 2 awards, not all the three, namely Best Actor, Outstanding Youth, Most Popular Singer, which one will he give up? Andy replied,"Then I will give up on myself, I won't board the boat, as I feel awards is most important than life." Actually Andy can swim.
Regarding the news that the biggest computer co in China is recruiting either him or Leon to endorse the products, Andy said he does not know abt it at all, said he, "I dont know, I really dont know, I have no material on this matter at all."
Andy was asked if he failed to learn change-face, will he think of learning other things? Replied, "Today cant learn, wait for tomorrow lor, I wont despair, actually lots of thing to learn in Sichuan opera, not necessary only change-face."
Lately Leon has launched his website, Andy said he had visited the site, he praised that his site's animation is v good. Asked which one he thinks is more beautiful? He answered wittingly," Those who like me will say mine better, those who like Leon will said Leon's better."

Headline: Andy 90% chance to endorse products for the biggest computer co in China
There was a report that the biggest computer co in China has set aside 3 billion as advertisement & is scoting for a suitable candidate to endorse the products.
Other than Leon & Andy, the co has considered Gong Li, Faye, Coco Li, but all 3 for some reasons had been dropped from the list.
Out of the remaining 2, as the co is v particular with its image, comparing the 2, Andy's image appears to be better.
The two give the same conditions, but Andy is more creative, he can give new ideas, he is also more keen with his work.
Until today, the chance of this co using Andy is v high, abt 90%, but this is not confirmed yet. The co has made some survey on Andy, as it hopes to complete the commercial within this year, Andy has v tight schedule this year, other than Mainland concerts, he has 2 movies to shoot. Accordingly Andy will meet the lawyer on legal matter to see if there is any conflict on receiving the offer......(how true????Whom to believe???)
