WORK - Project Coordinator, Coastal

Summary:
Been working at this Institute since November 1998, so it's been 5
years now. First I worked with the Environmental
Biophysics and Molecular Ecology research group, which was from 1998 -
2002. Then took a break by getting a real job, as a Human Resources
Assistant at New Jersey Skylands Insurance.
Yet, I realized that it was not a great fit for me personally and career-wise.
The company was very good to me though. Anyway, I
hunted around and was given other opportunities, but it wasn't until I was
offered to come back to the Institute that I was most satisfied. I ended up
coming back to the Institute, but to work with the Coastal
Ocean Observation Lab. Maybe a year or so from now, I'll eventually
leave the Institute for a real job and stick with it. In the meantime, I'm
having fun, enjoying everything I'm doing, traveling, and getting paid for
all of it. |
