The giant, Zuwa, works for the queen and is a very cruel and sadistic person. He’s about two times larger than the average man so I suppose that’s why he’s called ‘the giant’. He terrorizes the townspeople and for his unfortunate victims, they are skinned alive and he uses their skin to make his clothing (*shudder*). Zuwa is also the leader of the Kashuga tribe, who are a very fierce and barbaric bunch of people. *SPOILER ALERT* Zuwa is one crazy maniac. He tried to kill Yuri because the queen ordered him to (and because he wanted her ivory skin), but when Tito interfered, he killed him! Poor Tito was SKINNED and his corpse left out to rot in the desert. But fortunately he dies in volume 3 of the manga(you’ll find out how if you read the book). *Special notes*: Some Characteristics of the giant and our opinions This is one disgusting psycho!! SKINNING PEOPLE AND MAKING CLOTHING OUT OF THEM????!!! Kind of reminds you of Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. Whichever case, we hate him for killing Tito, trying to skin Yuri, and all around just being a creepy person. Before we figured out what his name was (because we couldn't from the Chinese characters), Kelly and I just referred to him as the ‘skin guy’ or the ‘skin man’ and it stuck.
