Use the HELP feature of Microsoft Excel to find out how to do the following :
EXCEL SPREADSHEET ASSIGNMENT #1
1) ENTER THE COLUMN TITLES IN ROW 1
a. Point to cell Al and click once to select it, if it is not already selected. Type Name and click on the Enter button. Cell Al now contains the label Name. Note that the Entry bar displays the currently selected cell's contents.
b. Select cell B1 and type Test 1.
c. Press the right-arrow key to move the cell cursor to cell C1, then type Test 2.
d. Press the Tab key. The label is entered and the cell cursor moved to the next cell in
the row, DI.
e. Continue this procedure to place the headings Test 3 in cell DI and Test 4 in cell El.
2) ENTER THE TEST DATES
a. Select cell B2 and type the date 9/11/00. Click on the Enter button. Excel right aligns date when entered into a cell.
b. Select cell C2 and type the date 10/8/98. Press the Tab key. The cell cursor is moved to the next cell in the row, D2.
c. Enter the date 11l/12/00 in cell D2 and the date 12/10/00 in cell E2.
3) ENTER THE STUDENT NAMES AND GRADES
Enter the following labels and values starting in cell A3:

P. Quinn 87 73 49 82
H. Toro 81 77 73 80
4) CREATE A HEADER AND FOOTER
5) PREVIEW THE. SPREADSHEET
a. From the File menu, select Print Preview. The print preview window is displayed with the portion of the spreadsheet containing data. Note the header and footer. However, also notice how it is hard to read a row in the spreadsheet because there are no gridlines or row and column headings.
b. Select Close to return to the spreadsheet window.
c. From the File menu, select Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box is displayed.
d. Select the Sheet tab if those options are not already displayed.
e. Select the Gridlines and Row and column headings options. Select OK.
f. Print preview the spreadsheet. Notice how much easier the spreadsheet is to read.
g. Select Close to return to the spreadsheet window.
6) SAVE, PRINT, AND CLOSE THE SPREADSHEET
d. From the File menu, select Close. The Grades spreadsheet is closed.
