All horses must be registered with the Pinto Horse Association of

All ponies must be typed and ponies and miniatures must have a
measurement card in order to show or be measured on the grounds.

Points to be awarded relative to the number of horses in the class
up to a maximum of six points: eg: 6 or more entries
6,5,4,3,2,1 respectively three (3) entries 3,2,1 point respectively.

Halter classes will be split or combined further, as dictated by the
number of entries.
6.
Halter classes with less than 3 entries will be combined if
possible. Performance classes with less
than 3 entries will be canceled at the discretion of show management. However if such a class is run, (less than 3
entries) it will not count towards year end awards.
7.
All horses finishing 1st or 2nd in their
halter class are eligible for Grand and Reserve. Points will be to all Grand and Reserve
Champion horses 4 points for Grand and 3 points for Reserve.
8.
Year End trophies will be awarded for all classes run at 50% of the
shows. However, all class points will be
accumulated towards Year End

Year End awards will be determined by the way they are shown the
majority of the year (over 50%)eg: if classes are
combined for all but two shows, then the award will be according to the way
they have been shown the balance of the year combined.

All club-sponsored shows will be ECONOMY SHOWS. If 5 or more classes are entered the maximum
entry fee would be $40.00 per judge, per horse.
This amount does not include a $5.00
per horse per show charge to cover ROM approvals as
well as $2.00 per horse per show to cover Office fees. All charges would double or triple in the
event of Multi-judge shows.

Every class offered is covered by the rules and regulations of the
current PtHA rule-book and will be conducted and
judged in accordance therewith.
12.
Performance classes are open to all Pinto types. No class is restricted by type in the
performance division with the exception that ponies are not to show against
horses. Except in the Youth classes
here ponies may show with horses.
13.
All horses must be shown with leather halter and shank. Hunter, Pleasure and Saddle type may be shown
in either a riding bridle or a leather halter with leather lead shank as per
Pinto rules.
14.
All handlers must be appropriately dressed. No short sleeved shirts allowed unless a
jacket is worn.
15.
A number will be issued for the year for each horse. A $2.00
deposit must be paid for this number.
All replacement numbers will cost $2.00.
Numbers are refundable at the end of the show year.
16.
Ribbons will be awarded to 6th place.
17.
Points will be awarded to 6th place.
18.
Show will go RAIN OR SHINE.
19.
Discipline Rail Horse is not a game or a fault and out class
and shall not be judged on an elimination basis.
20.
Maximum of three feet in Hunter over Fences class and 29 maximum
for the Hunter Hack class.
21.
Judge names will be published in the Newsletter if not noted in Show
Booklet.

Performance entries to be made 30 minutes prior to the start of the
performance division. Later entries will
be accepted at the discretion of the show committee.

Chaps and lariats are optional in Western classes.

Schooling over Trail obstacles or Fences is not allowed. Patterns and courses will be posted the day
of the Show. A practice jump may be set
up outside the ring.

Exhibitors are not to approach a judge without permission of the
Show Steward or Show Manager.
This is a PtHA rule and must be followed by everyone.
29.
Any protest regarding the judging of classes must be made in writing
within 48 hours of the show and given to the Show Manager for submission to PtHA along with the appropriate fees.

In approved Youth classes, horses, ponies and miniatures may show
together per Pinto rules.
31.
Youth must not have passed their 19th birthday as of
January 1st of the current year.
The age of the Youth on January 1st shall be maintained the
whole year.
32.
Walk-Jog participants must be 11
years of age and under. English or
Western attire is allowed. No ROM points
for this class. Entrants in this class
are not eligible for any other performance classes.
33.
Lead-Line participants must be 8
years of age or under and are not eligible for any other performance
classes, including Walk-Jog. No entry
fee will be charged, however the entry must be listed on our entry forms.
34.
All Youth points will be awarded on Youth/Horse combination. If a Youth changes horses a new set of points
will be awarded. In the event of a
serious injury, exception to this rule is possible only if the request is made
in writing alone with a covering Vets certificate. Decision of the executive is to be
final. Youth must finish the year with
the second horse.
35.
Youth are not allowed to show stallions in youth classes.
36.
Youth Activity Showmanship will be divided into English and Western
13 yrs & under and 14 yrs to 18, and will remain divided until such time
as either class does not fill.
