Being a J School Days At Present Favorite Things WHY? |

Hello everyone! By some twist of fate, you've landed here, in the virtual home of me, Totoro_DSF, aka Darin S. Furukawa. Before I give you any of my demographics, perhaps I should explain my username to those out there who have no clue as to what it stands for. The "DSF" is there (obviously, I hope) because those are my initials. So what's a Totoro? Well, a Totoro is that big, fat, furry fellow which is smiling at you on the left, and is depicted on my background. He's a forest spirit who loves to sleep all day, and goes out at night...just like ME.
With that said, it's no wonder I also share an affininty with the Pokemon, Kabigon (Snorlax for the English fans), as seen below. Actually, maybe I'm more like him since he only gets up to eat...but I digress...
So, what else would you like to know? Here are the basics: I'm a 22 year old, 4th Generation Japanese American who hails out of LA, CA. (wEs'siiidE tiLL i diE!!!) I'm true to the Sagittarian profile, for those of you who know. I graduated from Stanford University with an Art History degree, and am now another cog in the wheel of an internet customer service provider. I'm also an artist, a pianist, an Eagle Scout, a fisherman, a geologist, an entomologist...hmm, this could go on forever. I think the great Popeye said it best: "I yam what I yam," and what I yam is limited only by the labels with which I attempt to define myself.
