Weiß Fairy Geschichten = White Fairy Tales

	Once upon a time, in the kingdom of Weiss, there lived a young
prince by the name of Yoji. Although his father the King had tried hard
to get the boy to marry, Prince Yoji would not accept any of the girls.
	"They're not the right ones," he'd say each time a princess was
presented to him.
	In frustration, King Persia announced that there would be three
days of dancing and celebration. All of the eligible young women in the
kingdom were invited to attend, in hopes that someone might appeal to
Prince Yoji.
	The first night of celebration began, and Prince Yoji was bored.
King Persia and Queen Manx watched sadly as their boy watched with
listless eyes. Prince Yoji was not interested in *anyone*!
	Suddenly, the young prince sat up in surprise. His eyes were
riveted on someone. Leaping to his feet, Prince Yoji dashed across the
dance floor until he reached the person who had caught his eye.
	"May I cut in?" he asked regally to the couple that danced.
	The girl, who had black hair tied into two braids, giggled and
nodded, holding her hand out to Prince Yoji. Instead, Prince Yoji looked
to her partner, taking his hand.
	The two danced, much to the surprise of everyone else on the dance
floor. Prince Yoji could only gaze longingly into the amethyst eyes of
his partner. The man in front of him was tall and graceful, with fiery
red hair and a calm, serious attitude.
	"May I ask your name?" Prince Yoji asked, breathless.
	"Ran," the other replied. "Son of the Duke of Fujimiya."
	Prince Yoji nodded happily. They continued to dance. Ran was a
graceful man, who danced every dance with stately art. He was stiff in
formal, not only in gestures but also in manner.
	*This one is too formal,* Prince Yoji found himself thinking. But
he still enjoyed the dance.
	When the dance was finished, he returned to his throne. He sat,
bored once more, until he eyes picked out another figure that entranced
him. Leaping to his feet, Prince Yoji dashed across the dance floor to
intercept the object of his eye.
	"May I cut in?" he asked.
	The couple, surprisingly two young boys, parted and waited for
Prince Yoji to choose among them. Prince Yoji immediately took the hand
of the young, blond boy, leaving the slim, dark haired boy behind.
	"May I ask your name?" Prince Yoji asked, gazing into sapphire
eyes.
	"Prince Omi," replied the boy, a healthy blush surfacing to his
cheeks. The two danced the waltz, and Prince Yoji found himself enjoying
it.
	Until Prince Omi began to talk. Poor Prince Yoji had to put up
with inane giggles and silly conversation until the dance ended.
	*This one is too sweet,* Prince Yoji summed up. The dance ended
and he thanked Prince Omi before returning to his throne.
	Again, Prince Yoji sat there bored. He watched the dancers, but
none of them caught his eye. His eyes traveled over the dancers to the
refreshment table and beyond. Then, something caught his eye.
	Bounding down from his dais, he pushed his way through the
dancers. He passed the refreshment table and beyond. There, standing in
the shadows of the great staircase, was his final goal.
	He gently took the hand of the young man and led him to the dance
floor. The boy with him seemed very awkward and shy, and had trouble
with the dance.
	"May I ask your name?" Prince Yoji asked. He stared into eyes that
were as rich and brown as molasses.
	"K- Ken," the other boy replied, ducking his head to hide the
flush on his cheeks.
	"A beautiful name for a beautiful creature," Prince Yoji breathed.
They danced slowly, and Prince Yoji held Ken tight. The awkwardness of
the young boy was charming, and his clumsy attempts at polite
conversation absolutely delighted Prince Yoji.
	The dance ended, but Prince Yoji did not want to let Ken go. *This
one is just right,* he told himself.
	"Please stay with me some more," he begged, holding fast to Ken's
hand. At that moment, the clock struck midnight.
	Looking worried, Ken pulled his hand free. "Forgive me, Prince
Yoji," he replied. He hurried away quickly. "I must leave now!"
	Prince Yoji pursued him, unwilling to let him go after such a
short time together. But when he reached the main doors of the castle,
Ken was gone.

~~~~~~~
	The second night of the party began, and Prince Yoji found himself
on edge. He looked frantically for any sign of the boy he wanted to see.
	The dancing continued, and even though Prince Yoji had danced only
with men the previous evening, young women still tried to win his heart.
They flirted outrageously with him and tried to get him to dance, but
alas, he sat there searching the crowd.
	His eyes settled on Ran, the Duke of Fujimiya's son. To pass time,
he asked the young man for a dance. The boy readily agreed, and soon
they were pressed up tight against each other as they danced. Prince
Yoji still found himself looked around for someone else.
	Ran was stiff in his arms, and he moved with an antique grace.
This made Prince Yoji recall that the dukedom of Fujimiya was on the
outskirts of the kingdom of Weiss, and therefore a bit behind the times.
	Prince Yoji and Ran kept a comfortable silence as they danced, and
when the dance ended, Ran seemed reluctant to pull away from Prince
Yoji. Prince Yoji, on a whim, leaned down and kissed Ran on the lips.
	Ran's lips were cold and dry against his own, and they only let
him get away with a quick, chaste kiss. Only a faint blush stained Ran's
cheeks, and he looked away demurely.
	*That one was too formal,* Prince Yoji told himself.
	Thanking him for the dance, Prince Yoji returned to his throne.
	Again, Prince Yoji sat in boredom. His eyes watched the crowd
closely, searching for the boy he wanted to see. His eyes rested on
Prince Omi, dancing once more with his young, male date.
	Rising to his feet, Prince Yoji asked Prince Omi for a dance. The
young boy complied, and soon they were dancing in and out of the other
couples.
	As the dance ended, Prince Yoji leaned down and kissed the young
boy. Prince Omi responded heartily, opening his mouth to deepen the
kiss. His tongue poked lewdly into Prince Yoji's mouth, and Prince Yoji
felt that the kiss was very promiscuous. The boy's kiss was sickeningly
sweet.
	*That one was too sweet,* Prince Yoji announced to himself.
	Pulling away, he thanked the boy for the dance and returned once
more to his throne. Again he sat, waiting for the one he wanted to see.
	At last, at the top of the grand staircase, a young, shy boy
appeared. Knowing it was he, Prince Yoji leaped to his feet and rushed
to meet him. Drawing him by the hand, he led Ken to the dance floor.
	They danced slowly, pressed up against each other. *I've never
seen anyone as beautiful,* Prince Yoji thought to himself. He was
extremely charmed by Ken's naive manner.
	At the end of the dance, like the others, he leaned down and
pressed his lips to Ken's. Ken hesitantly responded, slowly deepening
the kiss in a pleasant way. Prince Yoji thought Ken's tasted delightful,
full of fruity sweetness and something that could only be Ken. All too
soon the kiss ended.
	*That one was just right!* he told himself.
	"Will you share another dance with me?" Prince Yoji asked, not
wanting to let Ken go.
	The clock once more struck midnight. "I must go!" Ken cried.
	"At least let me see you home then!" Prince Yoji responded. He
held tight to Ken's hand as they left the palace.
	Before they could descend the main steps to the carriage, Ken
pulled swiftly away. Before Prince Yoji could protest, the boy had
vanished into the darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~

	The third night began, and Prince Yoji was confused. He had danced
and kissed with three men, and each one he liked. He didn't know what to
do, or who to choose.
	Ran, the Duke of Fujimiya's son, was graceful and beautiful, like
a porcelain doll. He was attracted immensely to the young man. Prince
Omi of Takatori was also very cute, but there was word that he was a
promiscuous young boy.
	*At least he'll be experienced,* Prince Yoji thought.
	And then there was Ken. Other than his name, Prince Yoji knew
nothing about him. The boy had not shared any information with him, not
matter how hard Prince Yoji had tried.
	Prince Yoji was confused. He liked all three men, but didn't know
whom to choose. So, he thought of a plan of how to choose.
	*When I wanted to know if I liked a girl, I got my answer after I
had slept with her. Therefore, I'll have to sleep with each one to find
out who I like the most.*
	So was Prince Yoji's reasoning. He sat on his throne, watching for
the first of the young men.
	He saw Ran first. He crossed the floor and drew the young man
aside. In the dark shadows of the halls, he seduced the young duke, and
took him to a bedroom.
	There, the two pleased each other. As Prince Yoji took Ran, he
noted at how stiff the young man still was. Even their sexual activity
could not relax the boy. As the two climaxed their union (much too soon,
in Prince Yoji's opinion), Ran delicately bit his lips to keep from
crying out, while Prince Yoji expelled himself loudly.
	Ran wanted to hold Prince Yoji and talk quietly with him, but
Prince Yoji could not. He quickly leapt out of bed and dressed, intent
on getting back to the party.
	*This one is too formal!* Prince Yoji told himself in
disappointment. He knew with certainty that he could not choose Ran.
Kissing him goodbye, Prince Yoji returned to the celebration.
	He sat on his throne, waiting for the next boy to enter his
sights. The next he saw was Prince Omi. Prince Omi was flirting
outrageously with a tall, foreign man with glasses. Prince Yoji spirited
the boy away and seduced him back to his room that he used for such an
occasion.
	Prince Omi was much more experienced and willing than Prince Yoji
thought. The young prince was undressed and ready long before Prince
Yoji was.
	Prince Yoji found Prince Omi to be a drain on his energy. The cute
young boy screamed loudly with each thrust, and the older prince could
not sate him. Again and again Prince Yoji felt himself climax, but still
the young boy could not reach the orgasm Prince Yoji longed for.
	At long last, Prince Omi came, crying like a street harlot the
whole time. Prince Yoji escaped the boy as fast as he could, pulling on
his clothes and exiting the room to return to the party. As he left, he
noticed that Prince Omi, still indecently sprawled and undressed, had
fallen into a deep sleep.
	*This one is too sweet!* he summed up.
	Prince Yoji dragged himself up to his throne and collapsed upon
it. He closed his eyes, positively drained from the last encounter. He
could barely lift his eyelids to search for the last boy he wanted to
see.
	Ken did not show for a long time. Prince Yoji kept searching the
crowds, but he saw neither hide nor hair of the young man.
	Finally, Prince Yoji spotted Ken's chocolate brown locks in the
crowd. Jumping to his feet, Prince Yoji ran over to grab the young man.
Before Ken could get a word in, Prince Yoji dragged him out of the
ballroom and into the darkened halls.
	Prince Yoji seduced the boy quickly and took him back to his
actual bedroom. The feeling he felt when Ken was near was so right that
he didn't want to take the boy in some bedroom that didn't have any
meaning for them.
	They unclothed and coupled on Prince Yoji's bed. Ken was pleasant
to Prince Yoji, not too unresponsive like Ran, but not too eager like
Omi. Ken held out until just the right time, when their union came to a
jointed climax. When they were spent, they lay breathless in each
other's arms.
	Once more, the clock struck midnight. Ken pushed Prince Yoji away
and dressed quickly. The prince tried to make the young man stay, but he
claimed that he could not.
	"Ken!" Prince Yoji wailed. "Let me know who you are so that I can
find you again!"
	Eleven strokes of the clock had sounded. Ken rushed to the door
but stopped. He turned, his mouth moving as if he wanted to say
something. The twelfth stroke sounded, and the boy bolted out of the
room and down the hall. Prince Yoji, undressed, could not follow him.
	"He was just right," Prince Yoji said out loud to the empty room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
	The next morning, before Prince Yoji could start looking for his
beloved Ken, his parents intercepted him.
	"My boy," said King Persia. "I know you've been entranced by these
boys, but it's time you started looking for a queen."
	"My queen will be Ken when I can find him again and ask him to
marry me," Prince Yoji replied.
	"My dear Yoji!" Queen Manx cried. "You can't marry a boy! Even if
you're attracted to men, you must find a bride!"
	"My bride will be Ken when I can find him and ask him to marry
me," Prince Yoji responded stubbornly.
	His parents were at a loss. They talked it over amongst
themselves, and realized that they could not sway their boy otherwise.
	"When you find him," King Persia said, "you must make sure that he
wants to marry you. If he doesn't, we will pick a bride for you."
	Prince Yoji shook his head. "I will marry no one except my Ken."
	But Prince Yoji didn't know where to start looking to find his
Ken. He knew nothing about the boy except for his name. He had never
seen the boy before, and doubted that he would in the royal circles that
he attended. He wondered how he would ever find Ken.
	Unbeknownst to him, Ken was a servant in his own palace. Ken's job
was to scrub the floors of the castle. Every floor, from top to bottom,
every day. At the moment that Prince Yoji was talking to his parents,
Ken was scrubbing the ballroom floor.
	"Alas," Ken said to himself, his heart heavy with despair. "I'll
never be with my darling Prince Yoji! He could never accept me as a
servant."
	He pushed his rag into the bucket full of soapy water and watched
as bubbles alighted into the air. He watched his reflection in one, and
in his mind's eyes, he saw the prince and himself dancing the night
away.
	How long had he loved the prince? Since he had first seen him. Ken
had been captivated by the prince's charming, suave manner. Of course,
the prince had never talked to him before either.
	Ken had once been of a prominent family in the kingdom of Weiss.
But his father had died, and his mother had squandered away the family
fortune. Now, Ken only owned a trunk of his father's fine clothes and a
signet ring from his fallen family. He had been forced to work to
support himself, no longer talking to the rest of his family. His first
and only job had taken him to the palace, and securing him a place for
the rest of his life.
	Ken sighed, reaching out to pop the bubble. His dream was over. He
had worn his father's dated clothes so that he could look presentable at
the ball. No one knew he was gone from his work, and no one recognized
him while there. He had danced and loved with the royal prince, but that
had only been a short-lived dream.
	He could no longer see the prince, and he dared not dream about
him. He had thought about the prince for too long, and doing so anymore
would only make him obsessed. He sighed, returning to scrubbing the
floor he had once danced on. In all his wildest dreams, he had never
thought that the prince would make love to him.
	"You there, boy."
	Ken stiffened at the voice. Prince Yoji descended the grand
staircase, stopping at the bottom to sit on the steps. Ken continued
scrubbing, not trusting himself to look up.
	"Yes, sir?" he asked politely.
	Prince Yoji sighed. "If you were looking for someone and you only
knew their name, how would you go about finding them?"
	"Don't you have anything of theirs? An article of clothing,
perhaps?" Ken suggested. He turned his back on the prince, trying hard
to fight the urge to look up.
	"Nothing," Prince Yoji sighed. "I searched my room completely, and
my Ken left nothing behind."
	"I'm sorry, sir. Besides going door to door looking for this
person, I don't know what to do."
	Prince Yoji sprawled on the steps. He covered his face with his
hands. "I wish I knew more about him." Getting to his feet, he wandered
back up the steps. "Thanks, servant. You're a good man."
	"Thank you," Ken replied softly. "My love..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~

	Prince Yoji searched the whole kingdom of Weiss looking for Ken,
never knowing that he was right in his own household. Finally at his
wits end after a fruitless search, Prince Yoji returned to the palace
frustrated.
	"Perhaps," King Persia suggested, "We could throw another dance,
and he would turn up again."
	Queen Manx clapped her hands together. "Perfect! He absolutely
must show up! We'll invite everyone again..."
	Prince Yoji sat up, a triumphant look on his face. "It'll be a
party in celebration of my engagement!" he cried.
	"But dear," Queen Manx said. "You're not engaged."
	Prince Yoji smiled. "Not yet. But when Ken shows up, I will be."
	King Persia sighed softly, but smiled. "I still don't like the
idea of you marrying a man, but if it makes you happy."
	Prince Yoji sighed happily. "He makes me so happy."
	Queen Manx and her husband exchanged a look. "It'll be the oddest
rule our people have ever been under."
	And so, plans for the big dance were made. Invitations were given
out, and soon the whole kingdom was in a buzz. No one knew whom the
prince was going to marry. They all knew about his hopeless search for
the mysterious young man, but word was that the boy couldn't be found.
	Ken heard the same day about the party, and resolved to come. He
had to know whom Prince Yoji had decided to marry. He was in a nervous,
sickly state the whole week before the party. He had been passed over,
forgotten all too quickly by the prince.
	The day came, and people flocked to the palace. Prince Yoji sat on
his throne next to his parents, his emerald green eyes scanning the
crowd for any sign of Ken. He saw none most of the night.
	The people danced and cavorted, all waiting anxiously for the
prince to announce his bride to the world. Midnight came and passed, and
still, no announcement was made.
	Long into the night, Prince Yoji finally caught a familiar figure
in his gaze. Leaping to his feet, he rushed through the crowd, pushing
people roughly out of the way. Ken, seeing him coming, began fleeing. He
didn't want the prince to catch up to him, knowing that there would only
be further heartbreak for him.
	"Guards!" Prince Yoji roared. "Catch that man!"
	The guards complied, and soon Ken was helpless in their grasp.
Prince Yoji motioned them to bring the boy into a secluded room.
Dismissing them, the two boys stood alone in the semi-darkness.
	Prince Yoji advanced on Ken, who shrunk away in fear. The prince
raised his hand, and Ken flinched from the impending blow. Instead, the
hand rested gently on his cheek.
	"I've searched high and low for you," Prince Yoji whispered
throatily. Ken's eyes flew open and they regarded each other. "Where
have you been the whole time?"
	Tears came to Ken's eyes. He couldn't lie to Prince Yoji anymore.
"I've been here the whole time."
	Prince Yoji looked surprised. "What do you mean?"
	Ken looked away. "I'm a servant. In your own house. I wash floors.
You... talked to me, once. Asking me what to do to find me."
	"That was... you?" Prince Yoji asked in confusion.
	"Yes."
	Silence reigned, and Ken grew even more fearful. Slowly, he looked
up, locking eyes with Prince Yoji. The prince reached out and embraced
the boy.
	"Ken darling," the prince whispered. "I don't care who you are. I
need you by my side. I can't be without you."
	"Are you... sure?" Ken asked in fear.
	"I'm positive." Prince Yoji pulled away and smiled down at the boy
in his arms. "You're just right for me. I don't care what position you
had, you're a prince now."
	"P- prince?"
	Prince Yoji knelt down, taking Ken's hands in his. He pulled a
ring out of his pocket. "Ken, my beloved, will you marry me?"
	Tears flowed freely from Ken's eyes. "Yes," he whispered hoarsely.
Prince Yoji slid the ring onto Ken's finger and then stood to kiss the
boy.
	They exited the room and announced their engagement to the crowd.
At first, they were greeted by stark silence. And then, the people
roared in exultation. Everyone thought that the two young men were a
perfect couple.
	When Prince Yoji ascended the throne to become King Yoji, Ken also
became a king. The kingdom of Weiss knew years of peace and prosperity
during their reign. And every night, King Yoji would say the same thing
to King Ken.
	"You're just right."
