• Hearts of Ice by Krista Perry: In an attempt to split the couple, Akane is sent to another dimension that moves more quickly than regular time. There, she must grow and mature to survive the many trials that face her while a frantic and agonized  Ranma desperately searches for ways to get her back in Nerima. Truly a Ranma and Akane romance!
 
• Meiyo, Ai, Soshite Nikushimi (Love, Honor, and Hate) by Joseph A. Kohle: A darker fanfic about the pain of maturity, sacrifice, and honor. This delves deeply into each character, giving them much more substance and background. Strong influences from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time novels.
 
• A Lesson in Love by Marissa Price: The romantic ups and downs of the Ranma 1/2 gang. Everyone has someone in this "relationship" fic.
 
• Ill met by Starlight: A very dark fic that explores Ranma's sinister side in the role of the villian. Is he really the vulnerable and broken soul that tugs on Akane's heart or the emotionless psychotic who seeks to manipulate and possess as Nabiki fears?
 
• Daigakusei no Ranma: This picks up a year after the end. Ranma and Akane finally get married and go to college! Lots of new characters and reminiscent of Maisson Ikkoku.


• Stir it Up: A Ranma Fan Fiction Series: My sister's first fanfic! Anime-style and based on developing couples: Ranma+Akane (of course) and Ryoga+Ukyou.
