Part 5

Carol

Orchid watched the art school doors, she was sure one or more of the Stellar Senshi were here, her amulet sensed the power, maybe it was just the creative energy. She was not going to fail, in fact she was going to make Violet fail. Then she would find the Seer crystals and the Wisdom staff and she would resurrect Bane, then she would have all the power of the Seer Dragons and not even her mother would have power over her.

"Carol! Where were you yesterday?" Jennifer Reed ran over to her friend. "You were supposed to meet me outside the café.

Carol smiled, she was always pretty quiet and her friend Jennifer was always so boisterous and happy. She was glad she had made friends with her when her family had moved to Japan, it was very hard to find friends in the area where she lived. Carol did speak fluent Japanese, it was in her blood, but still, it was hard on her.

"To tell you the truth Jen, I don’t remember…I was waiting for you, and then I don’t remember, and then I was walking away from the alley, my head hurt so badly. And I ran into this girl with the strangest hair style."

"Ooh! How thrilling mind if I write a story about it?" Jennifer pushed her brown curls from her face and took out a pen. She was always scrawling something down, whether it was writing or art. That’s why her parents sent her to the private art school.

"Go ahead, it’s not really thrilling, I think maybe I should go to a doctor or something…my head really does hurt, and I keep having these black outs."

Jennifer became concerned and her wide brown eyes showed it, "You should see the nurse, she’ll figure out what is wrong, or at least send you to a doctor."

Carol nodded, "I think I will go, thanks Jenny."

Orchid huffed, angrily, there were no Stellar Sailors as far as she could tell and this was getting her nowhere, there must be a way to draw them out. If they were at this school the best way to do that would be some mass destruction.

"Nicole!" Corrine ran down the hall at top speed. Christina had fashioned communication lockets for each of them, and right now hers was beeping furiously.

"Miss Dounouk!" Corrine came to a halt sliding in her brown dress shoes on the slick linoleum floor as she heard her name. Not much grip on the bottom of the dressy shoes she slid to the ground.

"Mr. Kikagowa. I am so sorry really," Corrine got back up, her communicator blinked at her again followed by a barrage of beeps. "I have to go." She said rather abruptly and continued running.

The furious teacher yelled after her. "You are going to get serious detention for this!"

"Nicole," Corrine flew down the stairs and outside to the volleyball court. "Nicole!"

Nicole turned around, someone was calling her name and they sounded upset. "Corrine!" Nicole waved, and immediately got hit in the back of the head with a volleyball.

Corrine stopped and tried hard not to laugh, when Nicole finally stood up Corrine showed her the blinking communicator. "Um, excuse me teacher, I am…going to go to the nurses office, yeah." Nicole ran over to Corrine and they continued on their way to meet up with the others.

"Give it to me Tina what’s going on?" Nicole asked over Corrine’s communicator."

"Over at the art school, there seems to be someone terrorizing the students and faculty. Celestial and I are already over here, Lyssa is on her way and is going to transform before she gets here, I suggest you do to." With that Tina’s appearance and voice clicked off of the Communicator.

"Well what are we waiting for? Nova Fire Stellar Power!"

"Right! Cirrus Starlight Stellar Power!"

"Orchid!" Celestial yelled at the girl standing on the roof. "You need to leave these people alone before I get mad at you!"

"Oh really Celestial?" Orchid laughed, raising her hands toward Sailor Celestial. "My brother may have failed and Violet may be weak, but you will find that I am not defeated so easily." Orchid threw a large bolt of electricity at Celestial.

Celestial held up her hands as large chunks of ground flew up at her, "Vortex! Do something!"

"Vortex Dark Death Annihilation!" The boomerang shaped energy beams flew at Orchid who screamed out and then staggered back to her feet.

"I told you it would be harder than that to defeat me."

Meanwhile under a table in the commons Jennifer and Carol were hiding during the battle.

"Carol isn’t this cool!" Jennifer was ecstatic that the Sailor Senshi were fighting here at their boring school. "Carol?"

She turned around and her friend wasn’t there.

"Hey Orchid!" Orchid whirled around seeing Sailors Andromeda, Cirrus, and Nova.

"Sailor Cirrus, may I commend you on the destruction of my brother by your team." Orchid smiled holding another large ball of static electricity. "Here lets see you contend with this.

Andromeda and Nova broke running from the large ball, Cirrus charged it holding her hands out infront of her, the electricity danced off her palms, and over her arms and was absorbed into her. She turned and grabbed Vortex’s hand, she nodded at Cirrus knowing what to do.

"Vortex Energy Obtain!" Vortex took the electricity straight from Cirrus and it filtered to the other Sailors. Celestial who was pretty beat up from Orchid’s first attack drug herself back up.

"Thanks for the boost guys, now it’s time for a little retribution. Celestial…" She stopped, and all the other Stellar Sailor looked to where she was staring.

A figure just off to the side of Orchid, she wore a neon colored Sailor Fuku in alternation rainbow colors, with lavender bows. Her hair was short and dark brown, her skin a light tan. Orchid turned a little to see her standing there. "Oh and who are you?"

"I am Neo Stellar Sailor Draco Senshi of the Seers, prepare to meet your match."

"Whoa…You guys aren’t crazy," Andromeda said to Sailor Nova.

"We, we…killed you." Orchid Stumbled away from her.

"You did a poor job." Sailor Draco snapped. "Draco Dragon Scream!"

The other Sailors felt the familiar rumbling of the earth as the Dragon Scream began, then only to Orchid a loud scream filled her ears, she shrieked and fell to the ground writing and holding her head. "I will be back!" She yelled. With that she disappeared in an explosion of light purple smoke as if it was some cheesy magicians act.

The Stellar Sailors taking their eyes off of Sailor Draco looked to the spot where Violet had been. Looking back to where Draco had been they were all dismayed to find she had once again vanished.

"Carol! Are you okay?" Jennifer came running up to her friend.

Carol shook her head free of the fog in it, she couldn’t remember what had happened again, and all she remembered was the Stellar Sailors had shown up after that woman had begun blowing things up. "Wha…What happened?"

"The Stellar Sailors beat up that witch over there!" Jennifer was so happy.

"The Stellar Sailors…" Carol said, "I think I need to go home."

"I think you should too."

"And she is gone again!" Nicole pounded on the coffee table. "That’s it EYO! I know you are here, I know you can see all! Oh great and mysterious Dragon!"

"Would you please quit your yelling I am trying to study here." Micheal snapped at her.

"Listen you backwards cap wearing wanna be freak, Don’t make me come over there!"

"They’re at it again." Christina sighed to Samantha, who was helping her work on some new toys for the Stellar Sailor Team in the Kitchen.

"What, you come over here? Fine, I could take you." Micheal held out his hand and the Wisdom staff appeared.

"Oh, don’t even think you can intimidate me with that! Besides where were you this afternoon?"

"I don’t have a communicator yet moron."

"Oh that’s it!" Nicole grabbed a pillow off the couch and started swinging it at Micheal.

"STOP IT!" Corrine came storming into the living room. Nicole and Micheal turned to look at her feathers everywhere. "You two are the most juvenile people I know, do you think THIS is going to help anything."

"I was thinking maybe if I knocked him unconscious he could go find more out about that there staff."

"Very Funny," Micheal grabbed the pillow and whacked Nicole with it sending her falling over.

"Have I ever told you I hated you." She glared at him.

"Hey Tina, I think we need to build a cage for those two." Samantha laughed

"I’d help with that!" Lyssa smiled.

Carol strolled by the Shrine that was near her house, the Miko there was very pretty she had long black hair and the prettiest pale skin, and almost violet eyes. Carol sighed as she walked up the stairs to the shrine.

Rei saw Carol coming and smiled at her. "Can I help you, you seem a little down today."

"Oh hi, I was wondering if I could get a fire reading, I have the money to pay for it."

Rei felt something about this girl. "Well, today and today only fire readings are absolutely free!"

"Oh that’s great!" Carol followed Rei into the Shrine. "My name is Carol, Carol James."

"Hey Carol, my name is Rei. Follow me, into this room." Carol sat down on the cushion provided. "Now concentrate and ask in your mind the question you want answered by the fire."

Carol closed her eyes. Almost immediately she saw images in her head. Pictures of the Stellar Sailors almost like a dream. In it she walked down this long hall. When she came to a stop infront of a mirror she saw herself. She had pale white skin and emerald green eyes; her hair was tawny brown and long. Carol’s eyes snapped open, and she got up. "I…I have to go."

"Wait, you didn’t get your reading!" Rei chased the girl out the temple.

"No that’s okay I really should be going now." Carol flew down the many steps until she was away from the shrine. She leaned against one of the Brick walls. "What was that? What is that supposed to mean?" she closed her eyes and rubbed her temples.

"Hello! I found you, you are very hard to catch." Carol opened her eyes to the voice. In front of her was a lavender colored rabbit like creature with green dragon wings, and a rainbow patterned stomach. "Uh oh." It said as Carol’s world went dark and she fainted on the sidewalk.
