Chapter 2
Secrets

Part 1
Stellar Sailors Revealed

"I can not believe I am late, I am never late!" Corrine ran down the street as fast as she could. The others had already long since left for school hours ago and had neglected to wake her up, rather had woken her up many times not succeeding to get her out of bed. Not watching where she was looking she ran right into someone. Corrine looked up from her position sprawled on the ground. A tall man around 20 looked down to her. He had sandy blond hair and green eyes. He reached his hand out to help her up. Corrine’s mouth was wide open and her eyes were as wide as saucers.

"What a greeting, I haven’t seen you in a week and you run right into me, don’t even say you’re sorry." He laughed.

"Micheal!" Corrine hugged him, then backed up and smacked his arm. "Where the heck were you?! We were worried sick!"

"I was at the delegation of galaxies when I heard." Micheal looked away at the thought of Starchild and what had happened. "The dragon brought me here."

"Eyo? How the way I hear it she isn’t much bigger than a small cat."

Micheal cocked his head to one side. "Well…that she is when she wants to be."

Corrine heard the school bell ring. "Micheal! I am late, Go to the Kishu boarding house down the street. Here is the key to our room."

"Alright." He hugged her and kissed her forehead, "See you later today then."

*************************************

Corrine sulked to her seat behind Nicole in first hour class once she had arrived.

"What’s up, why are you so late?" Nicole whispered.

"Micheal." Corrine replied.

"WHAT!?" Nicole realized how loudly she had said that and shot a glance to Miss Haruna to see if she had heard. She hadn’t. "You saw him?" Nicole was very surprised.

"Yeah he was just walking down the street, I ran right into him."

"Girls!" Miss H had caught them. "Would you like to stay after class today?"

"N…no.. Miss Haruna." Nicole managed.

"Well then, get all your talking out at lunch time."

"We will," Corrine nodded

******************************.

"Micheal!" Samantha just about fell over when she heard the news at lunch. "He’s not dead?"

"Wow Sam you have some amazing tact." Lyssa laughed.

"Well, tell me you all didn’t think he was dead."

Christina nodded, "I thought for sure he had died defending the princess or something."

"Hey guys why the oh so serious faces?" Serena walked into the group.

"Oh hey Serena, we were just um talking about that quiz." Samantha managed to save.

"Yeah wasn’t that a major league bummer?" Serena giggled. "Would you like to come with us to the shrine today." Serena was hatching a plot in her mind.

"Sure, You don’t think Rei would mind?" Samantha remembered how crabby that girl had seemed.

"Nah, she and I just like to fight a lot, we’re really good friends and she can be quite nice at times."

"We’ll be there," Corrine paused, "But first we have to go home and change out of out school uniforms. Right?"

All the other girls caught on easily and nodded furiously.

"Why hello." Owen walked up to the group of girls, he held out a pair of round framed black sunglasses. "Do these perhaps belong to you."

"Thanks, I was looking for those everywhere!" Nicole half laughed trying to act normal.

Owen turned around and walked away.

"Isn’t he like totally creepy?" Serena whispered.

"He has this weird vibe all about him." Lyssa agreed.

"He’s just strange." Samantha added.

"Well, there is the bell, shouldn’t we be going?" Christina wanted to break the little meeting.

"Yeah I can’t be late for another class today, I already have one this morning. Bye Serena, see you later on today."

*************************************

After bumping into Corrine, Micheal walked down in the direction that she had pointed to find the boarding house. Up ahead he was amazed at what he saw. Water from a broken fire hydrant sprayed everywhere. Cars had crashed into each other the people who had been driving them had scattered. In the middle of the road a large ugly Creature threw things around. Micheal reached out and grabbed someone who ran by. "What is going on here?!"

"The traffic cop…this guy in a yellow cape, he turned him into a monster!" the guy pulled away and ran.

Micheal ducked behind a building and shouted his transformation phrase. Stepping back out as Heaven’s Knight Quasar, the wisdom Staff in hand. "You, creature!" Micheal cringed at how moronic that sounded. It turned on him and bared a pair of glistening sharp fangs.

"What? You dare challenge me mortal?"

"Mortal? Me?" Quasar laughed. He spun the Wisdom staff elegantly and brought it down on the pavement with a loud crack, splitting the ground. "I am Heaven’s Knight Quasar, I am a member of the royal guard and loyal servant to the Seer’s! Facing me will be the last thing you ever do!"

The creature laughed at him, "So sure of yourself well lets see how you do with this!"

The thing whipped around its large tail separated into various sharp spikes and blades. It swung it in Quasar’s direction. He just barely rolled out of the way, leaving the staff embedded into the street about four feet away from him. Reaching out a gloved hand he called. "Phoenix Pulse!!" A deafening birds cry was heard throughout the city as the staff began to glow where it stood, melting the concrete around it. Flames danced around the staff. The Seer stone in the middle of the large blade began to glow a bright hazy orange. A beak pierced through the stone and a fiery phoenix leapt from the stone as if it was being hatched from it.

"What is this bird?"

The phoenix grew in size its wings of fire shimmered and glowed brightly. It turned to the gargantuan monster and flapped its wings, in its direction. The creature screamed out as two walls of flame wrapped around it and closed in on it. The creature fell to the ground. In a shimmery yellow light a golden orb came out of the policeman who was laying on the ground and blinked out of existence.

"Wow!" People began to gather around Quasar.

"Hey are you Tuxedo Mask?" The calls came out.

"Wh…who?" Quasar turned to go. He pushed through the crowd grabbing the Wisdom staff as he ran. Ducking behind a building he turned into the alley way. Closing his eyes his disguise field deteriorated and He became Micheal again. Watching the people run by. He stepped out of the Alley. "Ochre? So the Dark prism family is here." Micheal looked around the street and saw a figure crouched down on the roof of a building across the street. As the figure turned from the carnage on the street, Micheal noticed that he had a cape. "Ochre!"

Micheal ran across the street and around the back of the building to the fire escape. Looking up he closed his eyes and shouted out his transformation phrase. The Wisdom Staff appeared and he was once again Heaven’s Knight Quasar. Climbing up the first ladder he made his way up the twisting staircases to the roof. He looked around anxiously awaiting Ochre to appear. Across the roof on the nearby building a man in a black cape and top hat was walking away. "Hey!" Micheal knew it wasn’t Ochre due to the color of the costume, yet could he have something to do with that creature as well. The mysterious man in the tuxedo turned slowly to face Micheal, he wore a mask over the bridge of his nose, and it was shaped like a pair of cat eye sunglasses.

"Who are you?!?" The mysterious man looked more surprised to see The Heaven’s Knight than he was to see him.

"I am Heaven’s Knight Quasar, and I think you had something to do with that creature down there."

The guy in the tuxedo laughed. "I had nothing to do with it I was in the area and if you hadn’t shown up I would have taken care of it."

"Oh really?" Quasar laughed.

"And if you’ll excuse me I am going to be leaving now."

"No you’re not!" Quasar ran at him, he was caught off guard by the impromptu flower garden that appeared from the masked man, one of the red roses stuck dead into the wooden handle of the Wisdom Staff. Taking his eyes off of the Rose throwing, tuxedo wearing, mystery man to look at the rose that was stuck through the staff as if it was a nail. Only a second passed from him taking eyes off of the other man to when he looked back up, but when he did he was gone. "Damn…" He pulled the rose out of the staff the magical weapon repaired the hole that was put in it by the stem of the rose.

*************************************

"Serena! What were you thinking?" Rei was not happy about Serena inviting the new girls to the shrine without her permission.

"I was thinking that maybe Ami or you could get a reading on them once we have them all together in one place."

"You know, Serena may have been using her head this time," Lita joked.

"She’s right Rei, if we get them all together we might be able to get some reading off of them on whether or not they are the Stellar Sailor Scouts."

Rei considered it, coming from Ami it actually sounded like it might work. "Okay, when are they supposed to be coming over here?"

"They said they had to go home and change first before coming over," Serena replied.

"Good by then Haruka and Michiru will be here and maybe with the help of Michiru’s mirror we might be able to see something more."

********************************

"Micheal!" Nicole opened the door to the room and Micheal was sitting on the couch watching TV.

"Well I am glad to see you are all fine." Micheal turned off the television and stood up.

"What happened to you?" Samantha asked. "Where have you been?"

"Well I was sent to the delegation of galaxies, I guess Starchild had a plan all along because she sent me with this."

Micheal held his hand and closed it around the air infront of him the Wisdom Staff’s handle appearing across his palm the blade etched out of the space before the girls in a bright white light, lastly the perfectly round Seer stone appeared nestled in the curve of the blade.

"The Wisdom Staff! Came the chorus from the girls.

"Why would she give a moron like you the Staff?" Nicole raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"I don’t know why she gave it to me, hey, I am not a moron." Micheal was slow to catch on but he realized shortly he was being insulted.

Lyssa shook her head, "This can’t be right, the Staff is the symbol of our leader, Why didn’t she give the Staff to Nicole."

Micheal’s eyes became wide, "Oh no, no, no, I am not being the leader, Nicole you take it!" He tried to hand it to Nicole.

"Nope, no deal I am not taking that thinking, I don’t know why she gave it to a mental giant such as yourself but I am not going to question that, there has to be a reason."

"This is a fact." Christina spoke up. "Starchild sent us away so that we would not die defending her against Queen Prism she knew what was happening and she knew what she was doing. She must have looked into the Seer stone and found out what the outcome was to be."

"Okay so that means we are stranded here until we can decipher Starchild’s whole point?" Corrine threw up her arms.

"No," Micheal shook his head. "We are stranded here indefinitely, we no longer hold our obligation to defend the Andromeda Galaxy the Seer’s have deserted King Crystos, and the whole kingdom."

"This can’t be!" Lyssa exclaimed. "We gave our lives to protect that galaxy what are we going to do now!"

"Um, I suppose we find the Sailor Scouts for this galaxy and join them!" Samantha was enthusiastic.

"That’s going to be a tough one." Christina rubbed her temples.

"There are scouts on this planet?" Micheal asked.

"Way to keep up with the topic, swifty," Nicole mocked him.

"Excuse me, but I only ask because I ran into some strange guy today who was wearing a tuxedo and threw a roses at me. One of them stuck right into the Staff. Do you think he could be part of that?"

"Well we have you, why wouldn’t there be a tuxedo wearing Scout?" Lyssa said.

"Oh please don’t call me a scout," Micheal cringed, "I am a knight!"

"More like a moron, but we won’t go there now because we need to get changed and head out to the shrine." Nicole reminded everyone about their engagement to Serena.

"That’s right!" Christina remembered, "Let’s not keep them waiting, I think they may have some information on those other Sailor Scouts."

**************************************

"What now?" Mina asked Darien who had just arrived at the Shrine.

"This guy in a general’s uniform, sort of, he confronted me on the roof after the guy in yellow turned the traffic cop into a monster."

"Darien you weren’t hurt were you!?" Serena held on to Darien’s arm.

He kissed her forehead, "I was just fine."

"Hello everyone!" Samantha came bounding up the stairs to the Shrine Her long reddish orange hair flying out behind her. The rest of the girls were following as closely as possible.

"Hello Samantha!" Serena let go of Darien and walked over to greet the girls.

"We’re sorry we are late," Christina apologized.

"That’s quite alright." Ami smiled sweetly.

"Hey Rei," Haruka walked out of the shrine followed closely by the teal haired beauty, Michiru. "Oh are these Serena’s visitors?"

"Nice to meet you all, I am Michiru and this is Haruka." Michiru introduced herself and Haruka.

Lyssa made a quick head count of all the people in the area. Ami, Rei, Lita, and Serena she knew either from school or from the video arcade. Michiru, Haruka and the Dark haired guy she couldn’t place.

"Oh yeah, This is Micheal my boyfriend." Corrine introduced Micheal who nodded slightly.

"Oh yeah!" Serena was reminded of Darien, "This is Darien, he is my boy friend."

"Pleased to meet you all." Darien wasn’t short on the formalities.

"So did you all hear there are new Sailor Scouts in Japan." Serena started to put her plan into full swing.

"Um yeah," Samantha shot a hesitant glance to Nicole.

"Yeah that one girl who showed up at the school right?" Corrine feigned innocence.

"Who was she again?" Lita tried to play Serena’s game.

"Sailor Cirrus I think." Serena looked as if she was in serious thought.

Lyssa watched Ami who was off to the side punching something into a minicomputer. She also noticed that Michiru was looking into an aquamarine colored mirror. "Um, Tina," she whispered into Tina’s ear. "Don’t you think that is suspicious?"

Christina looked around to the other girls. "Not really Lyssa."

"Whatever you Say."

**********************************

Owen, Ochre, had followed Nicole and the other girls to the shrine. He was certain that Nicole was Sailor Cirrus. She had conveniently been at the school the Day when he and Violet had shown up. He held out a Golden colored Orb infront of him, We will see what happens. He held the Orb out. "I summon the energy of the Dark Prism into this Orb make that gardener into a monster to do my bidding."

The gardener who was trimming the hedges hunched over as the Orb hovered over him a yellow stream of light beamed down on him. He began to grow grotesquely extra arms grew from his sides his hands were shears and hedge clippers. Its eyes glowed yellow, rows upon rows of shiny fangs sprouted from its mouth. "Blade is here!" Came the deep growl from its throat.

"Blade, I want you to smash that shrine!"

Blade charged through the well manicured hedges and up towards the shrine.

***************************

"So do you guys know anything about these new scouts?" Serena was running out of subtle questions.

"Why would we know anything about the Sailor Scouts?" Corrine threw up her hands.

"I dunno…I just thought maybe…"

Serena wasn’t allowed to finish her sentence as a disgusting creature came charging up to the Shrine.

"Oh my!" Ami jumped up from the bench.

All the girls backed up.

"Blade Smash Shrine!!"

"Look at its eyes!" Micheal shouted to the others.

"Yellow!" Christina knew what Micheal was trying to point out "Ochre!"

"Did they just say what I think they said?" Mina asked to Lita who gave a short nod.

"We have to find a place to transform!" Nicole shouted over to Corrine.

"Blade Smash Shrine!" The creature ran a hand through the roof of one of the buildings.

"Watch out!" Darien ran over and grabbed Samantha moving her out of the way of Blade.

"My hero!" Samantha cheered.

"Hey you!" across the cobblestone area stood two Sailor Scouts. One wore a blue and gold fuku, the others was teal and dark blue. Nicole remembered them from the first night they had arrived. It was Uranus and Neptune, where had they come from? "I am Sailor Uranus and I will not allow you to destroy this holy place!"

"Nor will I, Sailor Neptune, allow you to attack innocent people!"

"If you have a problem take it up with us!" Sailor Uranus finished her speech.

"Blade Smash Sailor Scouts!!" Blade charged the two sailor Scouts who ran for the trees.

"Quick into the Shrine!" Rei shouted, as she ran followed by Ami, Lita, Mina, Serena, and Darien.

"Wait," Nicole stopped the others from following. "Now that they are gone we can transform."

And the call went up.

"Cirrus Starlight Stellar Power!"

"Nova Fire Stellar Power!"

"Andromeda Mystic Stellar Power!"

"Celestial Darkness Stellar Power!"

"Vortex Silent Stellar Power!"

"Heaven’s Knight Stellar Power!"

Ami who had run back out to grab her computer stopped at the door hidden, watching as Nicole, Lyssa, Samantha, Corrine, Christina and Micheal Transformed. "Serena was right, they are the Stellar Sailor Scouts."
