Description. The magical gem belongs to the princess of Fenarinaasa. It's the item that she uses to summon her magic. The tradition in Fenarinaasa says that if the princess who owns of the gem throws it away, she must marry the man who picks it up for her. In episode 43 "Itsuka oujisama" ("one day my prince will...") , Momo dropped the gem by accident and a young man returned her the gem. However, since the young man was not from Fenarinaasa, Momo couldn't marry him.

You can see below 2 magical gems. The first one is the original gem of Momo, which was given to Momo by her mother, the Queen of Fenarinaasa. This gem was destroyed by a gunshot in episode 45 "Mahou no kieta hi" ("The day the magic left"). Later, in episode 49, a new Momo appears on the program. This Momo is not real, is just part of the dreams of the human Momo in Earth (See the description of episode 63) and she has a new magical gem. This gem is shown below at the right.
