| The original idea behind the creation of The
Home Page of Minky Momo was just to learn how to create web pages.
Back in those days, I didn't even had a theme for a home page, but in a
chat in one club of Anime where I used to be a member, several pals said
that they didn't knew anything about Minky Momo, so I decided to create
a page of Minky Momo in Spanish for them. However, while looking for information
for the page, I realized that some other people could be interested in
a version in English, so I had a small version in English running for some
weeks. On October 11th,1999, in response to my submision or the URL to
Anipike, they decided to selected this page as one of their picks of the
week and the number of hits of the pages in English increased to the double
of the hits in the pages in Spanish. Since that date, I decided to have
the same information both in English and Spanish.
In 2001, the server were I used to host the site went down, so I had
to look for another server. However, I got disappointed of the visitors
of the site in Spanish because they were becoming very demanding and unpolite.
Since I was doing this for fun and it was no fun anymore, I decided to
shut down the Home Page of Minky Momo and put my efforts into another different
project. In 2002 I started a site called Anime en Mexico
(available only in Spanish), where I have now almost 100 anime guides with
lists of episodes and descriptions, weekly tables of anime scheduled on
TV, etc. It has been a very demanding experience, but very fun, so in 2005
I decided to put again online the Homepage of Minky Momo as another section
of my main project.
