In the clinic of animals, Momo's mother inspects a dog that looks like
a panda. The person who brought her says that in fact she is a Pointer
looking for home. Mama decides to care over her while she finds a new home
for the puppy. When Momo introduces the dog to her friends, they are not
very happy. The dog is devoted to bother Shindobook. Momo uses her magic
to understand the dog's language and she listens how she is telling names
to Shindobook - you are full of fleas and a lazy dog." Momo replies: -Ah,
so that was. Well, Shindobook always says that he's tired. It should be
true, because he never lies." Shindobook complains asking how they dare
to doubt of him. Momo reminds to the dog that she is very pretty, but she
should behave. The following step is to look for a name for her. They decide
to call her "Mary Jane", and she seems to be happy with the name.
Later, in the park, Momo wants to train her as a Pointer, but Mary Jane
refuses to run. Momo asks Shindobook to show Mary Jane how to run. But
he is not exactly athletic and just doesn't do it right. Then Mary Jane
decides to give him a lesson. She runs around them very quickly and she
impresses them. Momo congratulates her because she can run very well, but
Mary Jane says that she is not interested in running anymore. What she
really wants to be is a human, so that nobody would ever think that she
is a panda and that in any event, she would simply wear glasses to hide
those rings around her eyes. Momo says that she doesn't know what she is
saying, she is a great athlete and some day somebody will appreciate her
for what she is. Mary Jane accepts to be trained. One day, running in the
park, a photographer asks to Momo if she has a bigger sister who would
want to pose for him. Momo says that she doesn't have any sister, but she
herself is a great model. The photographer says that he doesn't need a
little girl, he needs a more mature girl as pretty as Momo. Then he notices
Mary Jane and he thinks that she is a panda. He tries to take a picture,
but Mary Jane grunts him and he decides to leave. 
Momo asks to Mary Jane if she still is interested in become a human. Mary
Jane says that yes and Momo transforms her with her magic: "Magic diamond,
grant me power, Mary Jane a pretty girl wants to be." She warns that the
effect will last only 3 minutes. Mary Jane asks if she is beautiful. Momo
says that she is beauty, and that those glasses make her even look better.
They look for the photographer and he is impressed with Mary Jane. He takes
enough pictures, but while he is busy loading more photograpic film into
the camera, Jane loses her transformation. He asks where is she, and Momo
sends him to certain address. Mary Jane is very sad because she was getting
excited about modeling. Momo apologizes because the magical effect only
lasts 3 minutes and it can be done every 7 days.
After a month of training, Mary Jane improved enough her abilities. One
day, a doctor visits the clinic of Momo and he shows interest in Mary Jane.
He explains that he will go to a campaign of protection of animals in Africa
and that they need a dog exactly as Mary Jane. He promises that Mary Jane's
habilities will increase if she works with him. The mom of Momo is surprised
that he doesn't care about Mary Jane's stains that make her look like a
panda, and she let him take charge of Mary Jane.
In another place of the city, the photographer has placed Mary Jane's pictures
very well at an advertisement agency. A manager decides to deploy an aggressive
campaign of publicity for make ups using as model the cute Mary Jane. The
photographer contacts Momo, but she tells him that she doesn't know where
to find Mary Jane. The photographer and his boss look for Mary Jane hopelessly
and they decide to offer a reward in order to find her. However, all the
women claim to be Mary Jane. When Momo sees all these problems, she decides
to go in Gourmet Poppo to Africa in order to contact Mary Jane. After asking
to several animals, they finally find the doctor that owns Mary Jane. He
shows them the excellent work that Mary Jane has made. He comments that
there's a new building in the area and the animals are being relocated.
A dog as Mary Jane is perfect for the work. When Momo chats with Mary Jane,
she says that now she is very happy of being a Pointer and that it was
a foolishness to want to become a human. Momo and their friends decide
to return home and to leave Mary Jane as she is now.
Back to the city, Momo decides to become adult and take Mary Jane's place.
Shindobook tells her that she should do that from the very beginning and
that they didn't even needed to go to Africa. Momo transforms: "Magic diamond,
grant me power, the girl of the glasses let me be." She looks for the photographer
and the manager and she requests them as condition that she will model
for them only once and that after that, she will never do it again. The
manager accepts and the commercial is produced. The impression that she
causes in the public is big. Those girls that wear glasses now feel even
happier to wear them. In Fenarinaasa, the jewels of the crown shine again. |
