Introduction
Flee is one of the first Half-Life mission packs to utilize the new
Spirit of Half-Life technology. I decided to make the pack because I hadn't played
a fun Half-Life episode in a long time--I know some of you are
yearning for at least one more Half-Life experience to tie you over
until Half-Life2 is released.
Remember when Half-Life was first released (5 years ago!) and maps
first started being made? If you were around then you'll remember
that those maps focused on one thing. Having a good time. You didn't
care about all the holes the plots had, you were just playing to
have fun. You wanted intense battles, attractive levels and a good
scare now and then. I hope I can bring this back before Half-Life is
a thing of the past.
I truely hope you have as much
fun playing Flee as I have had developing it! With that said, let's move
on to the Flee storyline.
Story
Because the story will unfold through sequences and such, there's really not
much I can put here. I will tell you what I can about it. When the game opens
you find yourself in a sewer system. You soon learn that you are in a
large lab/military complex and that you have actually escaped custody.
Why you are there, where you are, and what you must do to survive will come.
All you know is that you must escape the facility. You must flee.
