Cards Rules

Okay. I didn't make this page until now (5-29-99) because I am the laziest person in the world to type. Now that I feel like making this page, I gotta hurry before my enthusiasm runs out.
Alright. Here are the basic rules of Pokemon cards. If you understand it, you can play with everyone else.

WHAT YOU NEED:
a deck, a coin at minimum, damage counters and poison counter if necessary.

Here's the basic flow of the game.

GETTING THE GAME STARTED:
1. Shuffle your own deck, then your opponent's deck

2. After you got your deck back, take 6 cards face down, and place to the side.
The 6 cards-refered to as Side Cards. When you kill one of your opponent's Battle Pokemon, you take one and add one to your Hand Card.

3. Take another 7 cards from the deck.
The 7 cards-refered to as Hand Cards. These are the cards that you can look at like when you play cards.

4. Place a BASIC pokemon FACE DOWN to the battle field to fight, and flip the card at the same time.
Battle Field- somewhere between you and your opponent so that both of you can see the cards.

Throw a coin and decide who's turn goes first. You're ready!
