Part 2~ The Nose Never Lie
Salsa brought Taketo to see how he works as a detective and met a client who he refused to help because he scented that she was lying. Taketo did not agree at first but he soon learn to trust Salsa's nose.
Curious about Salsa's work as a detective, Taketo went to N garden to witness how Salsa interview his clients. The client that day was a descent but worried looking lady who plead them to bring out her child from a mansion. With tears in her eyes, she told them that she was only allowed to see the baby once a month ever since her divorce. Her pleads of wanting to see her baby was so pitiful until Taketo was also flowing with tears. 

But to his surprise, Salsa rejected her case and asked her to leave. His nose told him that the woman was lying. Her scent was filled with evil and the anxious thought of "only tomorrow left". She seemed to have bad plans for child, so Salsa decided that he should go check on the address the lady had shown him.

Nothing happened the next day, which increase Taketo's slight doubt about Salsa's sense. Salsa, however, didn't give up as they went again the following night. He then went to check out the house's surrounding, telling Taketo to call him with his heart if anything happens.

While waiting on top of a tree, Taketo saw a sudden explosion in the mansion and soon everyone was running around trying to stop the fire. Then from the main gate came out the woman he saw last time. She a baby basket in her arms. Instead of calling for Salsa, Taketo decided to check it out himself because if what the woman said was true, then he shouldn't separate her and her baby. But as soon as the woman saw him, she attacked him with an electric shocker and Taketo fainted.

The woman then hurried into car where a man was waiting bring Taketo with her. Salsa tried to chase and clung onto the car but was flung away. He then tried to follow Taketo's scent, but then, with him unconscious, there was no scent at all.
Meanwhile, Taketo awakened and overheard the woman asking for ransom from the mansion owner. It was true, Taketo realised, what Salsa said was true. When he heard that the two of them are going to get rid of both him and the baby, he cut through the ropes and escaped with the baby. He then called Salsa with all his heart, sorry that he didn't trust him at first.

The kidnappers came and tried to snatched back the baby, between their struggles, the baby basket was flung into mid air and started to fall from seven stories high. Saving the baby was the only thing in Taketo's mind as he quickly jumped after the baby basket, hugging it to protect it from fall. Then at the nick of time, Salsa came and saved them both. He had scented Taketo's call and came at once.

Then, Salsa turned angrily at the kidnappers and attacked them. Once again, Toshifumi, Taketo's brother was paged to come arrest the kidnappers.

Taketo apologized. Salsa however said he liked his naive kind and pure heart so he didn't have to apologized. And for that moment, Taketo again thought Salsa was in human form, but when he turned, Salsa's still a dog.
