Part 8 ~ Upon Awakening
Accusing Salsa being the murderer of his younger brother -- Mitsuki (Salsa's ex-owner), Shido came for revenge using "Hajuuon" against Salsa and killed Taketo. Wanting to protect Teketo, another ability of Salsa awakened...
Salsa wanting to save Taketo changed into human form much to Shido'd amazement. He then leapt towards Taketo only to discovered that he was too late... Taketo was already... dead. Grieving over Taketo, Salsa clenched his hand into a fist to tightly that his long canine fingernails pierce into his palm and started to bleed. Salsa then threw himself at Shido in rage. 
Shido quickly used his "Hajuuon" again. The effect multiplies several times as Salsa was now in human form making it even worst for Salsa. But still Salsa managed to stand on his feet again. He swing his fist but it missed Shido and tore half a tree stump. Strike another time and broke a rock into half missing Shido again.
Shido at first afraid began to recover as he believed that in human form a WildHalf indeed became stronger and faster, but under "Hajuuon", Salsa's speed has decrease tremendously that it was nothing to fear even though his damage power was great. He took out a short knife and stabbed it into Salsa's chest, trying to dig out his heart.

But then the knife could not move any futher, it was stuck halfway on Salsa's chest. It couldn't be piece in nor could it be pull out. While Shido's grip was still on the knife. Salsa took the chance to bit him on the hand.

Shido angrily knocked Salsa to the ground and used "Hajuuon" again. A Wildhalf's body was stronger than steel, but with"Hajuuon", Salsa not only couldn't climb to his feet, he also fell with his chest facing the ground making the knife to stab deeper into his chest.

Salsa began to feel hopeless.  Like Mitsuki, Taketo was also dead, and he couldn't take revenge...

Suddenly, "Salsa!!!" Taketo knocked Shido to the ground. (?)

Both Salsa and Shido stared up in disbelieve. Taketo was supposed to be dead!

Taketo was really alive that wasn't a dream! This time Salsa swore to protect him. He began to yell loudly. And all of the sudden, the tree that was hit by Salsa's fist last time rapidly grew out branches hitting Shido. Shocked Shido stumbled backwards and the rocks (also broken into halves by Salsa) began to regrow itself back snapping Shido's foot.
Salsa began to explain that he could not even go near Shido because of the "Hajuuon" he was using, so he used nature growing things to help him instead. Things that Salsa had put a 'mark' on (the tree, the rock) with all react to his cry and helped him. A dog always uses some kind of thing to separate or extend their territory (think of a dog leaving their urine at some poles or places). Salsa had used his life energy in those thing he had 'marked', making them grow with his will which is why he kept missing Shido in the first place -- to mark those things.
Shido tried to use "Hajuuon" to prevent Salsa form using his 'mark' ability again but Salsa order Shido's skin to seal his hands! (He had bit Shido once remember?) Salsa gave out a cry, and Shido's hand suddenly twisted itself...
