Part 54~ We Are The Same
Dr. Karusama and Maria met and together with Salsa's help saved a dog. They both then felt that they were the same -- both have a very important dog in their lives before.

Taketo told Maria a lot about Dr. Karasuma. Maria became interested and wanted to ask Dr. Karasuma to be the vet for the pets in Luna shop. That night, Salsa told Taketo not to talk too much of Dr. Karasuma before Maria. He was afraid that if he often met the doctor at Luna shop, his secret of being a wild half might be revealed someday, because the doctor could read the feeling from his eyes capacity. Taketo thought that even though the doctor knew this secret it would still be all right. Nut Salsa recalled what happened to Mitsuki, his previous owner. If no one knew his secret, Misuki might be alive. So Taketo said sorry that he didn't understand him and gave a promise not to tell anything about Dr. Karasuma to Maria anymore.

Luna shop was growing up everyday. There was order for renting pet outside town and Maria drove a car to submit the order. At that time, Dr. Karasuma came to visit at Luna shop because Taketo used to tell him that he worked here. The doctor expressed admiration to the Luna shop, then reading Taketo feeling, he said that he shouldn't come here. He was coming out and said that he was seeking for Ginsei. He did it everyday and drove a motorcycle as hobby.

Suddenly, the telephone rang. Maria was on the line. She was in the way of returning when she heard a howl of a dog that seemed to be pleading for help in the nearby forest. She told Taketo to come help her seeking out the owner of the sound. Taketo didn't have enough money to go by taxi, so he and Salsa went with Dr. Karasuma who was waiting for him outside the shop.

When Maria first saw the doctor, she knew at once that he was Dr. Karasuma because his character (clumsiness to be exact, his motorcycle was knocked to the ground). Dr. Karasuma looked into the forest and told them to hurry as the dog  was so weak and chained.

They went into the forest and seek  for it. Taketo almost fell down a cliff causing  Salsa to change into human-form to help him. Knowing the approximate place of the howling dog, Salsa used his power to separate the trees and open up a clearing. Taketo was hurrying  to put on the clothes in the Maria's car onto Salsa, while Dr. Karasuma and Maria ran to help the dog. The dog was growling at  them and attacked Maria. Dr. Karasuma read that this dog used to be a dog in a rich family. It was taken cared nicely when it was young. But once it grow up, the owner grew bored of it and left it here. So the dog hated human very much.

Maria rushed in and hug the dog even though it was sinking its teeth deeply into her arms. She tried to make the dog understand and trust her. Dr. Karasuma came close to it and told it that its condition was similar to Ginsei. Although the dog was so angry, but in real it needed love. The both of them tried to help the dog understand but it was useless. The dog still attacked Dr. Karasuma and Maria because it couldn't understand the human mind. The dog spring to attack Maria again and Taketo used his body to protect her. Salsa come to help. He use Dr. Karasuma and Maria's hair to communicate to the dog. The dog attacked into Salsa's body and started to receive their feeling (a tactic similar to what Salsa used on Ouga long ago).

At last, the dog calmed down and they took it to Karasuma Veterinarian Clinic for treatment. It would later be sent to Luna shop.

Maria could feel the similarity bet Dr. Karasuma and her. She was sure that he, like her, used to have the important dog. Dr. Karasuma thought the same for her. So, they understood each other. Dr. Karasuma then asked Taketo about the dark boy (Salsa) standing beside him. Taketo told him that he was his younger brother, and at that Dr. Karusama took down his glasses, which makes them nervous. They were afraid if Dr. Karasuma knew the secret. Salsa told Taketo he would be more careful in changing into human next time. 

Before Dr.Karasuma left, he told Taketo that he wouldn't tell anybody about his secret (which frightened them a lot). He said he understood that Taketo was secretly in love with Maria, and he didn't want any man to come

close to her. That make Taketo and Salsa so surprise and puzzled if he knew or not?

Then Dr. Karasuma became the doctor at Luna shop. But he and Maria were so funny when they were together...
