http://geocities.datacellar.net/angel_princess202000/index.html While looking for a site to review, I went out to the Anime Top 100 and found the first SM site on the list. Lo and behold, Angel Princess' site was listed as the Number One site, which impressed me enough to decide to review it. Angel Princess' Sailor Moon Page is a general fan site. It has no general direction or focus. Its strong points are an extensive graphics library and some other stuff for a visitor to do. When I got to the site, I was greeted with a rather plain splash page. At the time of this review, both the splash page and the main page are done in a pale purple base color that is not glaring on the eyes. Both pages are simply organized and short. The biggest draw to the page is the picture gallery, and the galleries are quite extensive in some areas, depending on the character. There is a fanart area that looks like it might become something once more people submit material, and there is a small midi area. This is a site that could use some work. The entry navigation on the splash page is a bit confusing. I'd suggest that the webmaster make a new banner that basically can act as a door to the rest of the site. As it is, there is simply the word "Enter" at the top of the page, which could confuse users to click on the word. Then, off down and to the left from the banner is "ENTER Angel_princess's shrine for sailormoon" which again does not clue the user in to the fact that the banner is the gateway. One quick way to solve this problem is simply to alter one or both of the texts above to something like "Click on the banner to ENTER...." The entire site is graphics-poor. This is not to knock the site too much, but it is a possible avenue for future improvement. The site is arranged in a way that makes it look as though little organization was put into it. In the galleries, there are no thumbnails used, and the lack of organization continues here. The webpage apparently makes use of scripts, but they are not done correctly because the browser complains that the page is done, but with errors. It may seem like I've unloaded a bit on Angel Princess, and perhaps I did that to an extent. After all, seeing it at the top of the list, I expected to see a site that was a bit better put together. HOWEVER, having said that, let me point out that Angel Princess no doubt can and will continue to update and improve the site and the quality of her work will be seen in the future. I'll keep an eye on the site.
