(originally reviewed on 1-12-2000) Ann's Sailor Moon Page is the potential to be quite a nice site. Hopefully this review will help the webmistress on her way. First the good points. The backgrounds in the image gallery are quite nice. Also, some of the pictures are ones that I have not seen, and although I don't have total knowledge of all of the pictures that have been released, when pics come by that I have not seen, I am impressed. The navigation through the site is also quite good, and the small tables in the gallery are very useful. I also liked the main page of the site. I liked the graphics, the layout, and the text. The overall design was very well done on that page. There are also no speed problems to speak of. Don't think of these next few things as negatives. Insead, think of them as ways to improve both upon the page, and the way in which you present yourself to your viewers. Redesign the splash page if you decide to continue using it. I'd simply open directly onto your main page. As it is now, the background, while interesting, clashes with the text. If you keep the splash page, soften the background. This point comes under the possible heading of "Don't Let Them See You Bleed", and that is, do not tell your viewers tat you can't do something. If that is the case, don't mention it anywhere, and simply not have a section dealing with that. Perhaps renaming the page to emphasize the galleries would be a good idea. Also, you should consider reorganizing the individual galleries. The pictures appear jumbled or strewn together. Also, while we're on this subject, the use of height and width tags would aid the browser. All in all, this is quite a nice page, and I think that with a little tweaking, it can be quite a nice pic gallery. Artemis' Score: 6.7
