I generally don't review pages that are not based solely on the Sailor Moon anime, but I found this site to be intriguing, so I figured, HEY, I make the rules, I can toss them out every so often...

Shore of the Abyss is a fansite dedicated to a fanfiction set in the future of Crystal Tokyo. By that, I mean it is set in Crystal Tokyo's future. The story follows Chibusa, who is married to a prince from Altair. The story then focuses on their daughter, who is named Migawa Serenity.

While the fanfiction falls to the faults of all fanfiction...the biggest being that it's not canon (as no fanfiction is canon), the site has a good deal of information about Princess Migawa. There are numerous pics, a bio that would be scorned as "been there, seen that" if it were used on a regular Sailor Moon page...but in this case fits in perfectly well. And there's even some roleplaying stats. (They're AD&D stats, but if Migawa ever wants to take on Lord Brightblade of Southhaven, I'm game. :) )

There is not much to the rest of the site. The page itself loads well, and there are no intense graphics or technical problems. The site uses pictures that run the gamut between artist renderings, and fanart.

There is a links area, and a personal info area that's quite extensive. There is also a collection of things to do...most of them are Migawa-centered. :)

If there is a glaring fault, it can be summarized by the commercial where the girl breaks up with her boyfriend. The problem? Not a lack of interest. Not another girl (or boy)...but a lack of content on his webpage. Shore of the Abyss could do with more content. Perhaps a continuation of the Migawa story into a full-fledged fanfic series. More pics would also be a plus.
