This is a general Sailor Moon site submitted by Sailor Vega. At first when I saw the page, I wasn't impressed...then my eyes cleared. I looked at the small pics that show quasi-new Sailors. The pic on the left looks like someone doctored up a pic of Sailor Moon, Sailor Saturn, and Sailor Neptune, but in doing so, they also changed the Sailor fukus, and they did so in such a way that I was impressed. It is quite a nice look for the Sailors that maintains much of the original composition of the anime, yet also says NEW LOOK! While we are on the subject of graphics, I liked the banners and some of the pics on the subpages. These are pics that I have not seen before, so I am assuming that Sailor Vega edited them herself, and they look really nice. (The one on the page about Queen Serenity is really nice.) There are also a few animated graphics sprinkled about for good measure, although none of them are large enough to slow down the browser significantly. I liked the animated bunny on the Usagi page. Looking over the rest of the front page, I found that the colors go well together, and there is no overuse of a color or graphic. No eye-strain. Testing the page speed, I found that it loads quite fast. It's actually graphics-lite, so I found no browser hang-ups. Now to the goodies, and there are a lot of them. The main menu is sprawled over the front page, and it features subsections devoted to a bunch of the characters in the series. Each section has something different in it, along with a pic gallery of the character. And there is a LOT of things to do. There is a roleplaying game, you can create your own senshi, there are other contests, there are a lot of links to other sites, there is constellation info, cooking tips, a lot of Japanese culture sprinkled throughout the site, and there is even a page with information on Naoko! (BIG Thumbs-Up for that one!) The only problem I noticed is that the menu on the front page and the links pages tended to be a bit "busy". What I would do is experiment a bit with ways to seperate the material JUST a bit. Too much seperation and this page will be a mile long. I'd recommend CGI-driven menus that pop up the sub information when the mouse moves over, but Geocities does not like foreign CGI scripts. The same problem exists on the Links pages, and the solution is similar. With these particular pages, perhaps an added paragraph tag will seperate the links to the characters from the links to their topics. And that's it! This page is a must-see, a must-visit, a must-bookmark!
