This is a rather new site, and the webmistress says to be "harsh and truthful." Well, I'll try not to be too harsh.

It looks like the site has promise. The front page background is a nice original work (you can tell by the vertical lines on the drawing), and the page looks quite pleasant.

In fact, I was impressed by the backgrounds used throughout the page.

Now, before Makoto gets too far, here are some minor things to work on...

First, the backgrounds could be improved. By this I mean, you could do something with the horizontal lines in the front page where you can see the edge of the picture. If you need help or simply don't have a good graphics program, tell me and I'll see what I can do. (I use Paint Shop Pro 5, myself)

One thing to watch out for: clutter. This is when the lettering on a page conflicts with the background or color of the page. In the case of SSD, the clutter happens on most of the pages to some extent.

What I'd do is see about moving the text out and away from the pictures. Side bordered backgrounds are a great way to do this, and if you like, I could develop your graphics into side borders that would make the page look nicer. :)

In fact, between now and Monday, I'll grab a few pics off your site and see what I can do with them.
