Transcribed by: *too* red [Opening Credits] (Space. Different galaxies, planets are shown.) Narrator: Out in the universe there are millions of planets. It will not be unusual to find among them a race of people similar to Earth's inhabitants. In all of these planets of which we have no knowledge, there must exist civilizations far more advanced than our own. If any of these civilizations ever decide to invade our planets, Earth could very easily become one of the victims. (A pyramidal ship can be seen orbiting Jupiter. A closer view reveals its alien nature.) Narrator: Hidden behind the dark shadows of the planet Jupiter lurks a mysterious satellite. It has been assembled by the invaders, the Brahmins, and named The Temple of the Serpent. These Brahmins possess terrifying scientific powers far beyond those of Earth's. They have in fact succeeded in transporting such a gigantic and mysterious satellite as the Temple of the Serpent. (From a monitor, the King of Brahm is addressing Ulrich who is kneeling before him.) King: What? Has the jumping point to Earth's invasion been completed already? You have done well then, Commander Ulrich. Ulrich: Your highness, I thank you. I, Ulrich, am ready to begin the invasion of the Earth. In no time at all, I should have crushed the Earth and presented it to you. King: (grunts approvingly) Very well. I shall pray for your success for the fate of millions of Brahmins will be in your hands. Ulrich: (pleased) Yes sir. (Ulrich has risen and with a flash of his wings, he turns away from the king. He raises his fist.) Ulrich: Hear ye! Hear ye, people of Brahm! Your highness has ordered me to battle! We shall destroy every living being on planet Earth! [Victory Will Be Ours Forever] (The Brahmins are attacking Earth. There is wide spread destruction. Earth's fighter jets and tanks are no match against the alien robots. From a ship hovering in the distance, Zender surveys the damage.) Zender: Hahahaha! Look at that! Look how weak those Earthlings are! We shall have our first city sooner than we have planned. Look at that Commander Ulrich! (From the Brahmin base, Ulrich is also viewing the battle on Earth. Laida arrives with a glass of wine.) Laida: Congratulations Sir Ulrich! With the way it's going, it's only a matter of time before the Earthlings are totally destroyed. Let us toast to our success! (Ulrich, angry, hits the glass. It shatters on the floor. Laida is surprised and hurt but as Ulrich continues speaking, her face registers admiration.) Ulrich: You're an idiot Laida! We should not take anything for granted until everything we have planned has been accomplished. There's no time to waste. I shall fight hard until Earth is under my control. And we have established the second home for the Brahmins. We must assist the _ but this time I shall see to it that our hold on the planet is secure. (In a command room on Earth, the communication panel is busy.) (panel): This is the UN in New York! We are being attacked by mysterious robots! Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! (man): General! I can't seem to get the UN anymore! Could it mean that New York has been destroyed?! General Harris: (troubled) Yes... and that means that until _ we'll soon come under attack. (He looks at a picture of a man on the wall.) General Harris: Professor Hartford, what you had anticipated might come true. The only hope is your son's Space Dynamo. He must come back to Earth as fast as possible! (The Space Dynamo is already nearing Earth.) Richard: Edward, look at how big Earth looks from here. Our mission will be over in an hour. Edward: Come on, Richard. Do you think the people on Earth will welcome us? Do you think they'll treat us like heroes? Richard: Of course they will. It has always been the dream of mankind to find the Daimolite. We have found it and we are bringing it home. Can you imagine? With this we shall be able to start a new era on Earth. Edward: So... we're carrying Earth's salvation huh? Well, take a look at this Richard. (repeatedly pressing a button on the control panel with his foot) I've been trying to get in touch with Earth all this time and there seems to be no reply. I thought we were going to be Earth's saviors. Big deal! Richard: Well, here we go again with all the smart talk. (he spots several ships from a distance) Edward, don't worry. Look! They've come to escort us back to Earth. (As the ships approach, Richard becomes puzzled.) Richard: Hey! Edward: What's the matter Richard? Richard: We don't have that kind of spaceship on Earth! (The ships attack. The Dynamo is rocked by blasts. Both Richard and Edward are surprised.) Edward: What's going on here?! Stop! Richard: Hey! Will you stop firing at us! This is Space Dynamo! Don't mistake us for aliens! Stop firing at us! Stop! Stop! (The ships continue firing at the Dynamo causing serious damage. Alarms are going off.) (panel): They've damaged the power plant! Richard: (alarmed) Those ships came from Earth and yet they attack us! Why?! Edward: Blast! They better not underestimate us! (targets an enemy ship) Here, take this! (he fires, the ship is destroyed) (Earth. A cliff can be seen jutting over the sea. A cave resembling a dragon's mouth is below it. The peaceful surroundings is a marked contrast to the battle being fought above in space. The view changes to a laboratory in the distance. Inside, Professor Yergin, Joanna, Mildred and the robot Rotor are viewing the Space Dynamo and its attackers from a radar screen.) Prof. Yergin: Hmmm... I'm quite sure Space Dynamo is being attacked by the aliens at this moment. Joanna: (clutching the professor's arm) Oh Granpa! Help him! Do something! Please! Please! Prof. Yergin: But Joanna, the enemy is so wily. They're preventing us from getting in touch with your brother. They must be jamming our radar to prevent any contact. (Mildred grasps the professor's collar and lifts him much to his surprise.) Mildred: But, professor! Can't you do anything to help? There must be something you can do! (raises fist) If something happens to them what will become of us?! Prof. Yergin: (stammering) Ehhh... But, wait... I'm helpless... Mildred: (insisting) As a scientist, there must be something you can do to help! (Mildred stops talking. She turns and sees Rotor holding her foot in an attempt to restrain her.) Rotor: *Avoid violence* (Mildred loses her balance and falls. The professor breaks free from her grip. Annoyed, she chases Rotor who is repeatedly saying *Avoid violence*.) Mildred: You little meddler! You! Joanna: Stop it! Stop it! (Mildred and Rotor stop in mid-chase) It's no time for quarreling! (The Space Dynamo is still being attacked.) Richard: Edward! Can't you do something? Edward: It's extremely difficult Richard. This ship was not really built to do battle, but we'll try. Fire! (he hits a ship) (On their monitor, a hazy image of the professor appears.) Prof. Yergin: Richard! Edward! Come in! Richard: It's Professor Yergin! Prof. Yergin: We're being attacked by the Brahmins. We need the Dynamo _ immediately. Touchdown on Cape Cliffton nearby a laboratory. Don't waste any time! Come quickly! (The transmission ends.) Edward: It can't be! The Brahmins are attacking Earth! Richard: Edward, let's try to land at Cape Cliffton as quickly as possible. Edward: Right! Richard: Can't wait to begin the fight against the invaders! (Richard addresses the Dynamo's crew. They stop in their current tasks to listen.) Richard: Attention! All crew members! We shall fight to land in one bound. So everybody get into position immediately and fasten your seatbelt. (The crew hurry to their places as alarms go off. Richard fastens his seatbelt.) Richard: Ready... set... (Richard pulls on the control levers. The rear rockets fire. The Dynamo starts at full speed towards Earth causing it to heat up. The enemy ships follow and they too heat up.) Edward: Richard! (Richard activates the reverse thrusters. The Dynamo slows down and most of the enemy ships pass it causing them to burn and explode. The Dynamo continues its descent still pursued by the remaining ships.) Richard: We are nearly there. (Fighter jets arrive from Earth and they engage the remaining enemy ships.) Richard: Look, Edward! Defense troops from Earth. The Cosmo Corp. Edward: It's about time they got here. (The Space Dynamo manages to escape. A Brahmin is viewing the battle from a radar screen. He turns and faces Ulrich.) (Brahmin): Sir, we are in the thick of the fight but the spaceship got away and we don't know where they are. Ulrich: Those Earthlings actually got away. I don't believe it. (chuckles) Those Earthlings seem to be smarter than we thought. (to the Brahmin) Check where the spaceship is headed. (Brahmin): Yes Sir. (points to a place in Japan) Sir, we have them on our radar and they seem to be headed for Antalaya. Ulrich: So! That's where it's going. Inform Zender. Tell him to head for Antalaya and destroy that spaceship. We musn't let them outwit us. Well, you'll see that we aren't so easily outwitted as you think we are. [Commercial] (In the laboratory, the Space Dynamo can be seen from the monitor.) Joanna: (jumping up and down) He's back! He's back! My brother's back! Prof. Yergin: Joanna, prepare immediately for locking. Joanna and Rotor: (saluting) Yes sir! (Joanna turns a knob and flips some switches. Lights go on at the panel. She and the robot are at the panel.) Joanna: Roger! Locking equipment ok! Rotor: *Electrical circuits ok* Prof. Yergin: (rolling his sleeves) Ok, now let me activate the mechanism. (The professor pulls on a big lever. The laboratory sinks and from the ground rises metal sections to form a platform. From the Dynamo, Richard and Edward look down in amazement.) Joanna: Ok! Lockin completed. Get ready to land. Richard: Ok. Over and out. (The Dynamo starts to land on the platform. As soon as it lands, locks from the platform snap into place. Meanwhile, the professor is conversing with General Harris through a monitor.) General Harris: So, Richard has finally landed safely. Prof. Yergin: General Harris, accept our thanks for all your efforts and support. General Harris: There is no time to waste. London, Paris and Moscow have been leveled. The invaders are now headed for Antalaya. Prof. Yergin: Antalaya? General Harris: Yes, Professor. So get to work immediately and prepare the Daimos robot. Prof. Yergin: (nods) Hmmm... yes. (Below the ocean lies the Brahmin base. A Brahmin is seen running.) (Brahmin): Sir Ulrich! Sir Ulrich! Ulrich: What? Is Erika gone? (Brahmin): Sir, she was among the artillery men nursing the wounded ones. But I fear she may have been involved in the battle and... Ulrich: My dear sister! (takes a sharp intake of breath) Erika! (Ulrich's wings close as he ponders the grave news. Rowena enters the room running. There is a worried look on her face.) Rowena: Sir Ulrich! Sir Ulrich! Is it true? Is it true your sister the princess is gone? Oh, poor poor Erika! (Rowena starts sobbing. Ulrich's face changes. He faces Rowena as his wings unfurl behind him.) Ulrich: Stop it Rowena! This isn't time for tears. Erika wasn't given any orders to nurse the wounded. Those who set out without orders and meet with misfortune are fools! Rowena: How could you say that? Aren't you even worried about what might have happened to the princess? She may not have a direct order but through her own initiative and as a member of the medical corp, she went and tended to the wounded ones. (Ulrich slaps Rowena hard. She falls to the floor.) Ulrich: Shut up! My sister went down to earth voluntarily. But as commander of the invasion forces, I am responsible for the accomplishment of our goal. We can't waste time in search of a useless person! (Ulrich turns and walks away. Back at the Dynamo base, the Daimolite is being unloaded under the professor's supervision. Richard, Edward, Joanna, Mildred and Rotor are watching nearby.) Prof. Yergin: Careful. Handle it carefully. Hurry! Narrator: The Daimolite is a crystallized lime which emanates from a dissipating reaction. As it meets up with high gravitation, the combination produces high powered energy. (Professor Yergin, Richard and Edward are walking. Both Richard and Edward are looking around.) Richard: Amazing, Professor. How long have you had it done a ground lab? Prof. Yergin: Why, this is nothing. Richard and Edward: Oh? Prof. Yergin: (pointing) Look over there! Richard and Edward: Hey! (Richard and Edward are amazed by the sight of a huge trailer.) Richard: Hey Professor, what is that gigantic trailer? Edward: (pointing) Wow! Will you look at that! (The Daimolite can be seen suspended above the trailer. It appears to be being loaded into the trailer.) Richard: Trailer? Daimos? Oh, now I get it. The Daimolite we transported supplies the power to this giant trailer. Is that right Professor? Prof. Yergin: Right. Edward: So the Daimolite _ to Earth is actually channeled. Richard: That's right. Through this giant trailer we have here. Prof. Yergin: Yes. And you can call it Tranzer. Your father and I worked together to create this machine. Richard: My father? Prof. Yergin: Uh-huh. Yes, Richard. He had anticipated the present crisis you see. (A man comes running up to them.) (man): Professor! Enemy robots approaching! They're just 300 kilometers away from us! Prof. Yergin: Already? Edward: Professor! Prof. Yergin: We can't waste any time Richard. Come here! (The professor grabs Richard's arm and starts to run, half-dragging Richard.) Richard: What?! (The professor and Richard are running hurriedly.) Prof. Yergin: Now listen to me. This was your Dad's last wish. You are to operate the Daimos and fight against the Brahmins. Richard: The Daimos? Prof. Yergin: Yes. Bingo! (The professor and Richard exit an elevator. Richard is already suited up. He appears confused as the professor pushes him towards a hatch.) Richard: W-wait. Wait, Professor. I don't understand... Prof. Yergin: Shut up! Richard: What's going on here? Prof. Yergin: Just get in there! (The professor pushes Richard through the hatch. He manages to grab onto the handhold. He is moving through the tunnel fast.) Richard: Aahhh! (At the end of the tunnel is a seat. Richard is deposited on it. The seat, together with Richard, is then lowered onto a sportscar, the Rover 75S, which races through a tunnel. It exits the Dynamo through this tunnel. As the Rover leaps from an opening in the Dynamo, two flaps behind it unfold. A ramp rises from the ground. The Rover's flaps close as it lands on the ramp.) Prof. Hartford's Voice: Richard. Richard! Richard: Father! It's Father's voice! (Richard is startled to hear his father's voice. He looks around him.) Prof. Hartford's Voice: Listen carefully. The time to fight has come. With your voice awaken the Daimos energy of the Tranzer. Shout, Richard. "Tranzer go!" Richard: Tranzer go! (At the Dynamo base, the Tranzer comes to life. Its thrusters fire up and the Tranzer starts to move. It accelerates rapidly and exits the base from the cave below the cliff seen earlier. Sections of a platform rise from the sea successively. Each section sinks back to the sea once the Tranzer passes it. The Tranzer then enters the road just ahead of the Rover. Its back doors open.) Prof. Hartford's Voice: Now jump! The call sign is "Jet in." Richard: Jet in? Jet in! (The Rover leaps into the Tranzer through the opening. Inside, the Rover is slowed down. Its top opens and Richard and the seat are ejected onto a conveyor which takes him to the main control room. Tubes attach themselves to Richard's head, shoulders and arms. The panel lights up behind him. Meanwhile, the Tranzer races to the edge of a cliff.) Prof. Hartford's Voice: Alright. The last call is "Daimos Tranzer fight!" From then on, Tranzer becomes part of you! Richard: Daimos Tranzer fight! (The Tranzer leaps from the cliff and begins to transform into the Daimos robot.) Richard: Father! I'll make it now! (The enemy robots together with the Brahmin ship from earlier can be seen approaching.) Richard: I'm ready. (Inside the Brahmin ship, an astonished Zender sees Daimos from the monitor.) Zender: What is that gigantic robot? (chuckles) Just an ordinary machine built by stupid Earthlings. We shall pulverize it! (The enemy robots attack. Their beams hit Daimos. Inside, Richard is dazed by the intensity of the blasts.) Richard: Aahhh! (At the Dynamo base, the professor, Edward, Joanna, Mildred and Rotor can see Richard from their monitor. Everybody is nervous.) Prof. Yergin: Richard! Do not retreat! Those beams cannot harm Tranzer! Richard: Professor Yergin! Tell me! What is this robot's weapon? Prof. Yergin: There are several weapons but there's no time for explanations. Use karate, your favorite martial art. Richard: Karate? (The robots surround Daimos. They continue hitting Daimos with their beams.) Joanna: Come on, Richard! Beat them! Richard: I don't know what's going on. But here goes ... (One of the robots fires but Daimos dodges it. Daimos then punches the robot, destroying it.) Zender: (surprised) Huh? Joanna: He did it! (Joanna hugs the professor's neck almost choking him.) Richard: (pleased) Hey, this is all right. I think I get the trick. (The other robots step back. Daimos punches a hole into one of them and proceeds to chop its head clear across. It explodes.) Zender: What's this? This one's tough! (Daimos leaps and kicks another robot to pieces.) Richard: Take this! (Daimos destroys two more robots with just one kick.) Richard: That oughta teach you a lesson. Huh? (Richard sees a girl wandering dangerously close to the edge of a cliff. She is Erika.) Richard: Oh look out! Erika: (confused) Huh? What? Where am I? Richard: Watch out! (Distracted, Richard and Daimos move towards her. The professor and company are surprised. They are apparently unaware of the cause of Richard's unexpected change of direction.) Prof. Yergin: Richard! Where are you going? (Zender takes advantage of the momentary lull in battle.) Zender: Now I'll really finish you! (The remaining robots fire their heads towards Daimos. Attached to them are chains which wrap themselves around Daimos thus preventing Richard from reaching Erika. Erika, on the verge of fainting, looks as if she may fall off the cliff at any moment but mercifully doesn't.) Erika: (fainting) Ohhh... Richard: I must try to save her. I must! I must! (Richard struggles to reach Erika but Daimos is heavily caught in the robots' chains. Daimos' hand is outstretched towards her.) Zender: It is much too late for you. (The Brahmin ship comes closer to Daimos. It gets ready to fire a large missile at Daimos. At the Dynamo base, the professor and company are alarmed.) Joanna: Oh, stop it! Prof. Yergin: Richard! Look out! Get out of there! Richard: I gotta get out of this. Uhhh... (Richard tries to break free from the chains.) Zender: (laughs) Now, this is your end. Finish him off! (The missile is aimed at Daimos.) Prof. Yergin: Richard! You must use the Double Blizzard! Richard: Double Blizzard? Prof. Yergin: Yes. Push the key located on the right side of the panel. Richard: Got it! Now I'll try it. (Richard scans the panel in front of him and presses one of the buttons. It lights up.) Richard: Double Blizzard! (Daimos faces the robots restraining him. From its chest, two fans starts turning. They produce a powerful wind that breaks the chains and carries the robots up into the air in a tornado.) Richard: All right. Ready! Take this! (As the tornado dies down, the robots caught in it start to fall. Daimos then proceeds to punch and kick them on their way down. After the last robot is destroyed, the group at the base erupts into jubilation.) Prof. Yergin: Haha! Joanna: You did it brother! You did it! Rotor: *Congratulations* *Congratulations* Zender: (shocked) Huh? I can not believe all of our forces have been destroyed! (Richard turns his attention back to Erika lying on the cliff. Daimos moves toward her and gently takes her in both its hands. With her long black hair fluttering in the breeze, she makes a beautiful picture. Richard can't take his eyes off her.) Narrator: Who is this beautiful girl who seems to have captured the heart of Richard, for whom he risked his life to save? (Daimos stands by the cliff as Richard remains transfixed by the sight of the girl he holds with the robot's hands.) [Closing Credits]
