Welcome!
In 1997 I traveled to Japan as an exchange student through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.  I studied in the city of Yokohama, located 20 miles south of Tokyo.  My host Rotary Club was Yokohama Nishi.  The Rotarians took very good care of me.  They located the school (Kanto Gakuin) that I would be attending, sponsored me a couple of trips that included climbing Mt. Fuji, and they arranged for me to live with four different families during the year.  I am thankful for all of their support and to those four families who brought me into their lives.  They will forever be in my heart.

Since returning to the United States I have been asked numerous times about my trip.  For that reason I created this site.  When with people, it is impossible for me to elaborate on all of my stories.  Contained within this site are hundreds of pictures and over forty pages of places I visited, stories that I have written, achievements I  made, and people that I met.  Examples of these would be my climbing of Mt. Fuji, My trip to Hiroshima, being mistaken as an Olympic athlete, and attending a sumo wrestling match. I welcome you to my site and feel free to email me any comments.
