Salt Cod in Cream Sauce
(serves 4)
Ingredients:
- 3/4 lb of salt cod
- 8 potatoes
- 3 onions
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of white sauce
- 1 cup of whipping cream
Preparation:
1. Cut
potatoes like french fries and fry separately until semi-cooked.
2. Sauté sliced onions and crushed garlic in oil until golden.
3. Put in cod and let it sauté for a little while.
4. When cod is cooked, add fries and mix.
5. Add whipping cream and white sauce (leave 1/2 cup) and mix.
6. Put everything in a Pyrex and cover with remaining white sauce.
7. Bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown.
Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
- 300g dark chocolate
- 8 eggs
- 8 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
Preparation:
1. Melt
butter with chocolate in hot water bath.
2. Mix yokes with sugar (5 to 10 minutes).
3. Mix with melted chocolate.
4. Whip whites.
5. Mix with chocolate mixture.
6. Cool for 1 to 2 hours.
Rice Pudim
Ingredients:
- 100g rice
- 100g sugar
- 3 egg yokes
- 1 tsp of sea salt
- 1 cup of water
- 4 lemon peels
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 tsp of butter
Preparation:
1. Bring
water to a boil with salt and lemon peels.
2. Wash rice and add to boiling water (lower heat) and let the
rice absorb the water.
3. Bring milk to a boil.
4. Add milk to rice.
5. Add sugar.
6. Mix until 2/3 of milk has been absorbed .
7. Take 3 tbsp of rice out and mix with egg yokes.
8. Mix 3tbsp of rice/egg yokes with rice and stir for
about 2 minutes.
9. Add butter and stir.
10. Cool for about half hour and add cinnamon.
