MY FAMILY IN THE U.S. |

This is a family picture taken at my sister's graduation from college in May 1998. Starting from the right are me, my sister Kathy, my mother Jana and my father John. My sister is currently attending graduate school in pursuit of a Nursing Doctorate and a career in nurse practicioning. My mother is a computer systems analyst and rumor has it that the whole Y2K thing is her fault. My father is a musician and teacher, and boasts having graduated from the prestigious Julliard University, one of the premier music colleges in the world. That skill seems to have skipped a generation, as I can only boast mastering elementary recorder. |

Another picture from Graduation Day, you can see myself sitting next to my grandmother Josephine (my father's mother), and my Aunt Toni sitting next to her. Oh, and that guy sitting next to my sister with his arm conspicuously around my sister is her fiancee David. |

Here I am with my grandparents on my mother's side, Joe and Jane. They live in Seattle, Washington. My grandma grew up in Kentucky, which you can still detect in her southern drawl (if you can ever get distract her from watching black & white movies on TV!). My grandpa is a very animated person and shows no signs of his age (other than his balding head - in the DNA ?!) |

Did I mention how young my grandpa is? Well, the W plastered all over the clothes of my grandpa and Uncle Pat is for the University of Washington Huskies. They are huge fans and have been going to the football games for years. My Uncle Pat is a computer whiz who is planning to overthrow Microsoft sometime in the future. How is it that computers run in the genes of my mother and uncle, yet my grandpa refuses to get on the 'Net?! (That's why I can make so many cracks about him) |

If you wouldn't mind tilting your head for just a moment, you could get a quick glimpse of how young my grandma in Augusta, Georgia is. She has her own sewing business, goes dancing on the weekends and is apparently very popular with the local guys. Ever have to watch over the social life of your grandmother? |

Here is a look at my little brother Steve, who lives in Massachusetts. The picture on the left is of the two of us at my graduation from the University of Massachusetts in 1996. The picture on the right is of Steve in 1999. Makes me feel old to say, "My, how you've grown," but he now towers over me. One of the leaders of his high school football team, and a great guy. |

Hey, these guys deserve respect too. On the left is Waverley and Tiger is on the right. Waverley wines like no tomorrow and Tiger is the peaceful warrior. Just give 'em some catnip and let 'em roar. |
