The voices of Pulse and Signal got together for a new project. It started out as an idol group consisting of the popular talents of- Takehito Koyasu, Seki tomokazu, Miki Shinichiro and Yuuki Hiiro. The first three were actually in Fushigi Yuugi together as well, as Hotohori, Chichiri/Kouji and Keisuke respectively.

Weiß became popular, and manga and radio shows began. Soon, it became animated.
