Using my Translations

Romanizations are free for anyone to use, but please credit me- arigatou!

You may use my translations if you follow these steps:

1) Email me to get specific permission. Tell me who you are, which songs you want, and where you plan to use them.

2) When I email you back, copy the translation(s) that you want exactly. I do not want to be given credit for your style choices. If you think it sounds better another way, use someone else's translations or do your own. Purely physical points, such as italics, capitalization, and Romaji forms may be altered.

3) Give me credit somewhere near the translation. Please include any credits I have given to other people who helped me- they did work, too.

4) Don't forget the people who originally created the song!

5) If you would like, include a link to my page for those who want to see more translations. This is optional. Arigatou for playing fair and realizing how much work I put into this. Good luck with your page! ^_^

Using my Photographs

Before you start to take pics, please look at my credits page to see who originally created them. If they were done by someone other than me, please don't take them without contacting that person or visiting their webpage. Some people allow rampant pillaging of their pages, so you may be able to take it from the original source.

I hope you understand that my photographs are different from my translations in several ways. Rather than building off of someone else's work for my education, I am doing my own work for my pleasure and possibly part of my future job. Therefore, I respectfully ask that you refrain from using my pictures for anything related to a for-profit activity without my permission. Please Email me with your name, the pics you want, and where you plan to use them. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks, and sorry for any inconvenience.

For non-profit activities (such as your personal webpage or that of a non-profit organization), please just send me an email telling me what you've taken and where it will be. You don't need to wait for a reply. Just credit me somewhere, either on your credits page or on the page where the picture is, and please put up a link to my main page. Thanks!

Anime pictures do not count. Those are free for the taking if you've checked the credits page to see if they were my scans or screen captures. If so, take them and put up a link to my page onegai-shimasu. If they were done by someone else, negotiate with them.

Members of Middlesex Morris can take any pics of the team they want. If you have requests (I have a range of images from 1998's gigs), please email me.

Please feel free to download any pictures for your own viewing pleasure, but remember to mark them as ones that you can't use in public without permission. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Taking my Stories or Poems

All of my writing is copyrighted. Quotes are one thing- I quote other writers all the time and I think that's fine. I also don't mind if you ask me and I get the chance to say no (which I probably won't). My only real problem is with people taking things and not giving credit (and links). I am really serious about this. If I find something of mine on your page and you are claiming it as yours, I will make life difficult for you.

If, on the other hand, you are a nice, normal person (relatively ^_^) who is willing to credit me and put up a link to my page, go ahead. Just make sure the link is near the text, please. (e.g., you can make the title a link or something). Please do this even with fragments of creative writing. Also, please fire off a quick email to tell me what you've taken and where it is.

Exceptions are any group stories that may be up somewhere, or any use which may be for-profit. You have to email for the first kind because they don't belong to just me; I have to ask other people if it's okay. For the second kind, you must ask permission, but you should expect to have to work out a deal of some sort.

Thank you very much for being reasonable. I hope you have fun on my page.
