whitebelt01a.gif (1016 bytes)     The Kinser Dojo is located in Kinser Sports Complex's, Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan.  This page was designed so you would understand what we do at the Kinser Dojo.  Here is Schedule of Events:

1.  Class starts between 1930 to 2000.

2.  Line Up, Stand at Attention (Kiotuke).

3.  Sit Down (Seiza).

  • Bow to God (Sinzen ni Rei).

  • Bow to Teacher (Sensei ni Rei).

4.  Stand Up, Start Exercise's:

  • Upper Body Twist - 10x

  • Alternating Toe Touches - 10x

  • Neck Bends - 10x

5.  Sit Down, Continue Exercise's:

  1. Open legs, stretch to the left, center, and right - 10x each

  2. Cross left leg over right and now do ankle twist - 10x (same for right side)

  •     Toe Bends

  •      Pond on bottom of foot 

6.  Laid Down, Continue Exercise's:

  • Close Eyes - 10 seconds

  • Sit-ups - 10x

  • Back Stretches - 10x

7.  Turn Over, Continue Exercise's:

  • Push-ups - 10x

8.  Stand Up, Jump up and down (shaking arms and legs)

9.  Stand at Attention (Kiotuke)

10.  Start Karate Exercise's:

    1.   Punches:

  • Chudan Tsuki - 10x (middle punch)

  • Jodan Tsuki - 10x (high punch)

  • Gedan Tsuki - 10x (low punch)

    2.   Blocks:

  • Jodan Uke - 10x (high block)

  • Chudan Uke - 10x (middle block)

  • Gedan Uke - 10x (low block)

    3.   Kick & Hand Strike:

  • Maegeri - 10x (left & right kicks)

  • Shuto - 10x (knife-edge hand strike)

11.  Start Kata's:

    1.    Work on Kata's:

  • Naihanchi-Shodan

  • Naihanchi-Nidan

  • Naihanchi-Sandan

    2.   Advance Kata's: 

  • Pinan-Shodan

  • Pinan-Nidan

  • Pinan-Sandan

  • Pinan-Yodan

  • Pinan-Godan

12.  Start on Kicking Exercise's:

  • Left & Right Kicks:

  • Low Kicks - 10x

  • Middle Kicks - 10x

  • High Kicks - 10x

13.  Finish up class:

  1. Do Naihanchi-Shodan

  2. Cool Down Exercise's:

  • Leg & Back Stretches - 10 each side

  • Alternating Toe Touches

  • Neck Bends

  • Jump up & down

14.  Stand at Attention (Kiotuke)

15.  Sit Down (Seiza)

  • Eye's closed to God (Sinzen ni Mokuto)

  • Open your eye's (Mokuto Yame)

  • Bow to God (Sinzen ni Rei)

  • Bow to Teacher (Sensei ni Rei)

16.  Class is finished about 2100.
