are various carnivorous or herbivorous reptiles that lived in the Mesozoic era. They have been extinct since the Cretaceous period 65 millions ago and the scientists know its existence through the discoveries of dinosaurs' fossils. Their remains were found all over the world, especially in deserts places where historical evidences are not yet destroyed by human activities. Since the animal does not lived today, palaeotonists can only make assumptions about their behaviour and evolution, but they always have evidences from the fossils to support their theories.
