| Passport to Road Rules 8: Semester at Sea | Six Roadies board an ocean vessel to explore the world for 16 weeks. Representing a departure from the terra-firma format of past seasons, the cast travels on the University of Pittsburgh's SS Universe Explorer as part of the Semester at Sea program, in which undergrads tour the world and earn college credits by attending classes on board.
| 1 (1 hour long) (season premiere) | In the opener, the new cast members skydive onto an island, build a raft and finally board the ship for their first destination---Cuba. There, they participate in a baseball game. In addition, one of the Roadies, whose parents are Cuban, has an emotional first-time meeting with relatives.

| 3 | The Roadies stress over first exams.
| 4 | The Roadies tour Cape Town, South Africa (Part 1 of two).

| 6 | Out in the wild among friendly and fierce beasts, the Road Rulers put their eyes to the test on a photographic safari in Kenya.
| 7 | Pua's relationship with Ayanna is shattered when she learns Ayanna is practicing voodoo.
| 8 | There's high tension in the air as the shockwaves from Ayanna and Pua's fight still echo through the group.
| 9 | It's time for the Road Rulers to unpack their trunks and dust off their paint brushes so they can teach art to two elephants.
| 10 | The Road Rulers get to monkey around when they go to a Malaysian Wildlife Center to feed some orangutans.
| 11 | It's gut check time as Road Rules heads to Vietnam for a race on foot, boat and bike.
| 12 | The Road Rulers have to prove they're money in Vietnam when they get a mission to spend 12 million dong in 12 hours to help a children's center.
| 13 | Dragonboat race in Hong Kong; Yes is caught with a bottle of liquor which results in a few hours of dock time.
| 14 | The Road Rulers hit Shanghai, and learn the ancient art of Chinese Opera, until real life shatters the serenity of the stage when protests force the kids back on the boat.
| 15 | The kids draw a really cool mission when they get to write and voice a Japanese anime.
| 16 | The Road Rulers are stylin' when they run a shipboard salon, but when Ayanna accuses Veronica of academic dishonesty, the unity of the group could be torn apart for the rest of the trip.
