VERBAL LESSON EIGHT
In this lesson, we will cover the rules for conjugating to Perfective, based on stem.
Once again, the first group is the one called the group. In order to make these verbals perfective
direct, all you need to do is add to the stem.
The next set of verbals are the ones where the final syllable of the STEM is found in either the group or
the group. In order for these to be conjugated to perfective direct, the final syllable of the stem
is dropped, replacing it with .
The next group is the group where the STEM has for its final syllable . In the case of these verbals,
when conjugating to perfective direct, the becomes , and a is
added to the end. Here are the examples:
The next case is where the final syllable of the STEM is . Here, simply take the stem and add

In the case of the remainder of the verbals, the final syllable is replaced with and a is
added to the end. Here are the examples:
The honorific polite verbals are the same in terms of how they are conjugated. They all have *AI at the end in the STEM and
take on the same properties in their direct perfective forms.
The honorific polite direct verbals are not often used. They can be used, for example, to show more friendship between two speakers
