VERBAL LESSON SIX

So far you have learned the way to handle verbals in distal style. This is not a very comfortable way to talk with friends. The next few lessons will cover the direct style of verbs. Not only is this a faster, more personal version of the verbs, the direct style of verbs is often used in combination with a structure pattern to transform the verbs. The direct style is used to make "probably" verb versions, to make honorific polite version, as well as to make "VERBing" forms of the verbs.
There are two main classes of verbals to be concerned with when conjugating to the forms. There are the verbs and the verbs. The verbs are the easier ones, following the same rules of conjugation. The others depend on what the final syllable is... so you could look at it as there being many types of verbals.
The following three lessons will cover the four forms of conjugating in direct style. These forms are the same types as with distal style verbs: Imperfective, Perfective, Negative Imperfective and Negative Perfective.
