If you want to get a pokemon over level 100,talk to the man in Viridian city who tells you how to catch a weedle/caterpie. Next fly to Cinnabar Island and go to the right side and surf right next to the shore. You will see Missing #000 pokemon but do not capture it. Instead, run and keep surfing. The next pokemon you see should be over level 100!!!
 
 
 

One code which I know for a fact does not work is the get mew by S.S. Anne. Supposedly you trade with a friend to get cut instead of boarding the ship. After you get surf and strength and the badges requiered to use them, go to the S.S. Anne and surf around it. After that, there are many ways you should be able to get mew,none of them work. The first is to use strength to push the boat. The second is to push the truck(glitch???)The third is to surf around and wait for a cave door to appear. Do not bother starting over to try this cheat, it is just a big waste of time.
