Duke is the son of the French nobleman Michel Rambert, who had never lost a one-on-one duel, until one day a young Asian man came to his estate. It was Eiji Shinjo. Eiji broke Duke's beloved sword and Duke had lost the battle. From then on Duke has been obsessed with the thought with the thought of defeating his rival. Hoping to encounter Eiji there, Duke enters the first Tournament...
